Help the MBR team win Budweiser's "Band of Buds"

So I know every single person here only drinks craft beer and everything, buuuut feel free to help out with this if you want to be highly entertained starting Wednesday of this week. Guest appearances by Fat Mike, Joe McMahon (Smoke or Fire), Kim Kardashian, Adam Mullett, and too many to list/spoil right now...

Quick backstory behind this : Beth signed us up for some nationwide Budweiser competition to find "the best crew" in America. Thousands of teams competed in 25 different markets. Back in October, we made the quarter and semi-final event in DC. After advancing from the top 12 to the top 4, we beat out the other 3 remaining teams to claim the title of top crew for the Washington DC market. 24 other teams from around the country went through the same thing and now we're all being flown out to Vegas for a 4-day competition to determine an ultimate winner that will receive a brick of cash and other perks. It's silly, it's inconsequential, but welcome to 2010 internet culture.

1.) IF YOU LIVE IN VEGAS:

The first night of competition requires us to document a full night in Vegas on our own terms. So on Wednesday, December 15, from 9PM-8AM local time, we have to go out and get pictures and video that shows the judges that we know how to have a better time than the rest of the weasely pigpeople we're competing against. Naturally, if you have access to something more interesting than the standard and typical strip fare (something that the average tourist in Vegas rarely/never gets to experience), that's what we want to get into. If it costs money, it's cool. Bud has outfitted us with debit cards to absorb our expenses, so feel free to think big. We've got 11 hours to fill up, so we can cover a ton of ground. If you're out there and want to get into some shit, send Brent an email at [email protected] with brief details and your contact info so that we can meet up and do things.

2.) IF YOU WANT TO PLAY FROM HOME:

First things first. Go "add," "subscribe," and "like" any/all of these social media profiles pertaining to the crew. They will all be updated throughout the 4 days we're there and they will be the means by which we'll be communicating with you and sharing pics and videos from the adventure. Want to see Kim Kardashian's ass or Fat Mike's dick while they party with us (dead serious)? Add these profiles. After the competition is over, you won't have to hear from us again.

The first link is the most important since that's where they're monitoring the web traffic. However, to remember to go there, we recommend adding the Facebook pages (as that's where you probably spend most of your time as is). Every time we update the Budweiser page with pics or videos (or need you to do something online), we'll post a Facebook update letting you know what needs to be done.

Essentially, be around your computer from December 15-18 and prepare to be entertained...

3.) WANT TO SELFISHLY GAIN A HIGHER PROFILE FOR YOUR OWN BAND/BUSINESS/ZINE/LABEL/etc.?

If you're a part of a band or a business or any entity you want people across the nation to know about (and have the ability to record yourself on video), please CUT A ROWDY RODDY PIPERS PROMO! We'll stick you on our YouTube channel and mirror it on the Budweiser website. So if you want a little more visibility toward your band, label, business, zine, blog, whatever, just record a super brief thing saying something along the lines of "Hi, I'm ______ from _____ and I back the Rowdy Roddy Pipers" or "It's time to pay the pipers" or whatever you feel like doing. Have fun with it. We'll link people to your site accordingly. You'll need to act fast if you want in on this. We flight out at 5:50 AM Wednesday morning, so we need your clips for inclusion by Tuesday at midnight.
