willbratt Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 I got mine yesterday and I have some mixed feelings on the finished product: First, the label could have at least sprung for a REAL LP jacket. A folded paler sleeve is disappointing for the long-awaited return of Most Precious Blood. Second, my LP has some fidelity issues, which I imagine are due to the vinyl mastering: a) the high end frequencies from the cymbals are overpoweringly hissy in the first track. the volume of the LP itself is way quieter than I had hoped. This leads it to lacking the punch that an album like Our Lady... has. On the plus side, the band has written and released an awesome set of songs, which live up to all my expectations.
