I guess if you have the money to burn, then to each his own. From a audiophile perspective cassettes sound like piss and I wouldn't choose to listen to a cassette when I have CDs and vinyl at my disposal. Tapes are the new vinyl. All the cool kids are releasing stuff on cassettes. Tapes have really trebely thin sound, perfect for hipsters in brookyln i suppose...
