xfedupx
I finally have some room and supplies and I started toying around with making things for Halloween. I made these over the weekend. They still have some work needed (paint, better bone for the finger, tie the intestines off on the ends, etc) If you make things, any advice for a n00b? kittenmittons
one of the most awesome tips i learned for making really gnarly wounds is to throw down your base shades of red, yellow (for mucus/fatty material), and black for dimension, shred the ends of q-tips and place the strands in the "wounds" and cover with fake blood. I made this chest piece for Halloween in 08 using that method and people went bonkers: I had slit wrists but they didn't hold well. I ended up taking the prosthetic off. I really hope I get a chance to play around with prosthetics again this year. I wanna work on a gaping chest hole.
