melikecheese
Hey all, So I have a Sony PS-T2 that I picked up for dirt cheap but there is one problem. I am missing the counter-weight, and the shaft on the tone-arm is way thicker than any other tonearms so fonding a replacement has been hard. Two months at the repair shop and not one that fit it came in. Can anyone recommend a place to shop for counter-weights specific to model? OR, does someone have a T2 and a scale? If you could weigh the weight that would be great, then I can make my own on the lathe. Worse comes to worse I am going to have to hang fishing weights from the arm to guess on the weight and then make one... Thanks!!
moodydan
I looked a bit but found only this http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-PS-T2-Turntable....h t_1738wt_913. Obviously it's not a replacement part, but there may be part numbers in there.
kidamnesiac
I had a Sony cassette deck I needed parts for and surprisingly Sony still carried them. Had to do a little looking around the site, but I got what I needed. Check there before you get too extreme! http://esupport.sony.com/
