thishoax2live4
Can anyone recommend a good record store in Greensboro, NC. I googled it and a few came up but I'll probably only have time to go to one wanted to visit the best one possible! Thanks!
patrickemmons
I didn't know there were any in greensboro - there is a good one called CD Alley in chapel hill on franklin street but it's 45 min from greensboro. I think the greensboro mall's hot topic has vinyl too.
gud
"Remember When Records" is supposed to be the biggest all-vinyl shop in the area. I haven't been there yet, it's an hour away, but it's on my to-do list.

beta114
down the street from CD Alley is All Day Records. they're the shit - brand new so it probably wont show up on many websites
gud
Here's an article on 'remember when' in Greensboro: http://www.digtriad.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=118061 Also, try Winston-Salem which isn't far away either. Is Record Exchange still open there? What about Mighty Quinn Music?

Durham has a couple record stores too, one is in Brightleaf square and is a lot more mainstream / hipster - the other is near Duke I think and a lot more underground. httran
Durham - record store in Brightleaf Square is called Offbeat Music. Record store near Duke is called Bull City Records - this is without a doubt one of the best record stores in the triangle.

exitenglish1208
what are all these people suddenly in raleigh/durham doing here? i'm in chapel hill as well. CD ally and all day records aren't too great for punk stuff in my experience. i hear lunchbox in charlotte is great, and bull city records in durham is good too
