gravitylovesdrunks
I have found the holy grail of toronto record shops. for just under 30 bucks, i got: Thursday- Full Collapse 831/2000 Get Up Kids- Loveteller 7" Thrice/Thursday split 7" (clear vinyl) Gods Reflex- Shifting 7" (white) AND CHECK THIS FUCKING SHIT OUT... these were the other releases that were there, the following are all new. i would appreciate it if you guys could also help me out with pressing info/rarity for some of these. i would be willing to pick up one of these to incorporate it in a trade deal, i'm mainly looking for Get up Kids- STWHA and Four Minute Mile. anyway, here is what i remember: 12" NOFX- Maximum Rock N' Roll (So What if We're On Mystic) Sealed Thursday- War All The Time- Sealed Promise Ring- Wood/Water 2x 10" Sealed Thrice- The Artist in the Ambulance Sealed Queens Of The Stone Age- Complications white vinyl hand numbered/ 300 7" 2 copies of Dolly on transluscent green (/2000) 2 copies of thrice/thursday split on clear

If you're interested, make me an offer. Otherwise, great great scores!

patron
I actually signed up for this site just to ask this, but what store in Toronto is this? I live in Toronto and I'm always up for checking out new stores. Something tells me you stopped by Hits and Misses, though.

Yeah, I was there last weekend and they had about three or four, I was going to pick one up, but I already had ordered mine from No Idea. Hits and Misses is a great store though. gravitylovesdrunks
yeah, i scoured what seemed like every part of toronto and thought i had found all of the record shops, but i had missed the best one until yesterday- hits and misses
andrews
great store. the dude who runs it rules too. I'd assume that someone like that would have to be a bit conceited or something, but you can talk to him about whatever album or if hes getting this or that in or anything. I'm hoping hes doing enough business to stick around for a long time.

Much better than Rotate This, at least for the type of music I listen to. The owner, Pete, is a really cool guy as well. He posts a lot of their shipments on the Toronto Hardcore board, and if you see anything that you like he'll gladly hold on to it for you until you can get down there. http://tohc.ltwzine.com/list.php?f=1 is the Toronto Hardcore board. Also, I just found this list of other shops in Ontario: http://www.musicbymailcanada.com/ON.html Has anyone been to In the Groove or Back Beat Records? I'm not too sure, that second site that I linked says "All Genres - Used/Mint/Rare Vinyl LPs & 45s" I was just wondering if anyone has been down there to check it out. Guest abravemorning
If they still have the Promise Ring wood/water 10", would you pick it up for me?
gravitylovesdrunks
311Thrice, the stuff on your list that i would possibly want to trade for are from under the cork tree and sticks and stones. patrick, the copy was $20.99 CAN when i checked, so after shipping, it might be cheaper for you to attempt to win on ebay.
