thedannychang
Just wondering if this acrylic platter will work on a Project Carbon Debut. If so, does anyone have any preference between the Music Hall Acri-Plat and the Pro-Ject Acryl-it?
slinch
It's the exact same platter. Pro-Ject and Music Hall parts are all made in the same factory, an while some of them differ slightly, these platters are identical as far as I know. cymbalism15
^I was hoping the Music Hall platter would be a better deal, not really

Are you sure about music hall and pro-ject being from the same factory? I'd like to see proof on that.

I got the info from our local dealer, but a quick google search will show it is mentioned quite often: http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/music-hall-2-1-or-pro-ject-debut-iii.70201/ http://www.stereophile.com/content/project-iii-turntable-vs-music-hall-mmf-5-3 http://www.stereomojo.com/MusicHallMMF9.1Turntable%20Review/MusicHallMMF9.1TurntableReview.htm http://www.electricalaudio.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=58604 http://www.furious.com/perfect/vinyl55.html
