ruben
Hello, I got a small situation here, let me sketch it out for you: About a year ago I bought a Rega RP1 wich worked fine on my old Pioneer receiver (wich wasn't mine) and it was plugged in on phono. (I'm not an expert in all those things but it worked perfectly like that) I now use a Harman Kardon AVR3000. It works perfect for my cds, but when I plug in my turntable I just get this "soulless, empty" kind of sound from it. I don'tk now how to describe but it's just isn't a warm sound like when I play cds on it. And the sounds was way much better on my old receiver. I also don't got a phono in on the HK3000, so I just plugged it in as TAPE or CD, it works for both. But with the same result. Can someone help me out on this one? In an as easy way as possible? : ) The HK3000 is otherwise great to equip my ps3, dvd, blu-ray, tv, radio with so that part is good. Thanks for reading, Ruben
3arl
If there's no phono stage on the receiver then you're going to need to buy a phono pre amp
