jdtg
I got the Cambridge Audio Azur 551 pre-amp on Saturday and just realized audio is only playing from the left speaker while my turntable is connected through the pre-amp. I first tried using a different input but had the same result, no sound. So I removed the pre-amp from the set-up and went straight from TT to the receiver phono input and the L/R balance is perfect. Did I receive a bad pre-amp? Should I be trying a different setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
jdtg
I just tried with a different pair of RCA acbles from pre-amp to receiver and it was the same, left side but nothing from the right.
ajxd
Its possible you received a bad piece. Absolutely sure you're plugging everything in correctly?
jdtg
I spent about an hour changing around wires and trying new wires to be sure. I was leaning toward it being a faulty unit, just wanted to see if anyone had some diff insight. I'll be sending it back soon
