GoRadioFan
I just picked up a Denon 300F and somehow lost the screws to connect the cartridge to the headshell. Does anyone know what kind/what size screws I'll need? I've looked online and in the manual and found little beyond 2.5mm and no word as to length or headtype. Can anyone help me out? allenh
2.5mm Allen cap head, the length is down to which cartridge you use but 6, 8 or 10mm are pretty normal. Measure the mounting part of the cart and add a couple of mm for the nut and the headshell.
GoRadioFan
Thanks so much! It's a ATN95E and I will measure when I get home.
gabpower
When I bought a new Ortofon 2M Red cartridge for my Denon DP-300F, they provided different screws with it and I think the smallest ones fitted so you might want to check that out if you need. mcguirk
Cartridge screws are a royal pain to find. Try eBay or call up Needle Doctor.
