  1. REZZ's debut album "Mass Manipulation" is now available for pre-order on vinyl! 12" double LP cut specially to 45rpm. Limited to only 300 copies. US/CA: https://mau5trapmerch.com/products/rezz-mass-manipulation-lp (SOLD OUT) EU: https://www.hhv.de/shop/en/item/rezz-mass-manipulation-554660 (SOLD OUT) https://www.deejay.de/Rezz_Mass_Manipulation_MAU50127V_Vinyl__291099 The Mau5trap merch site says it will be sold exclusively through them but I was shown the two EU sites by a fellow member of The Cult of REZZ (her Facebook fan group) and decided to post them here. Shipping is quite expensive as they're based in the EU, but this seems like the last chance to get your hands on a copy until they do a repress (IF they do a repress).
  2. I’ve started a new kind of web shop & subscription service that features vinyl records from a list of handpicked exciting and under the radar ambient / drone / house / techno record labels. Interested in giving it a try & getting your first box of vinyl records for free? What you get: Get a surprise box of vinyl records, delivered right to your front, once per month. Each box includes 1 new limited edition LP + 1 EP. I'll send you mainly ambient, drone, house or techno records from small record labels worth checking out. First month is free, I’ll only ask you to cover the shipping fees. How to join: Send an email to [email protected] and I’ll reply back to learn more about your preferences. You can also message me here on vinyl collective or sign-up here Why I started it: I've been a longtime record collector and I love electronic music, particularly ambient, drone, house and techno music. The problem is that If you don’t live near a decent record shop and can’t afford to jump in your car and drive 200 km to the closest one just to pick a record or two, then there's only one option left: to buy records online. Unfortunately, most online stores have way too much music listed and it’s way too time consuming to filter the junk from the good stuff. That Special Record not only wants to make online crate digging a less painful process, we want to make it a nicer and more personal experience.

  4. I don't know how many EDM/electronic music fans there are here on Vinyl Collective, but I noticed there wasn't a thread for us so I made one. Going to a festival soon? Have a favorite track you want to share? Everything and anything related to electronic music can be discussed and shared here. With that said, I like to mix in my free time. I haven't pulled the trigger and purchased a proper controller yet but I get by mixing with just my laptop. I go by the "HANABI" moniker on Soundcloud and recently put out a trap/heaven trap/dubstep/etc mix that you can listen to right here! Enjoy (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
  5. I know there have to be some fellow Porter fans on here and I want to talk to all of you, so here's the "official" (and by "official" I mean "I searched high and low for a Porter thread but couldn't find one so I made one myself") Porter Robinson thread! Feel free to discuss absolutely anything Porter related or maybe share similar artist's music. A little about me: I discovered Porter's music a little over a year ago now, shortly before "Worlds" came out, when a friend sent me "Sea Of Voices", "Lionhearted" and "Sad Machine" which were the only tracks released at the time. As someone who very sparingly liked electronic music at that point in my life, it honestly wasn't my cup of tea at first. Then I found out he was playing at the House Of Blues here in Orlando so I listened a little deeper to the album when it did release and watched videos of the live show he was performing in support of the album. That's when I absolutely fell in love. I spent the weeks leading up to the show watching the same videos of his show on repeat, just in in awe that something so beautiful was real and was going to happen to me. I ended up throwing away the ticket I had to see The Amity Affliction that night and got to the venue seven hours early. Thanks to downtown Disney's free WiFi, I was able to pick up an internet connection on my deactivated phone and I got an email from Astralwerks Records approving my prior request for a photo pass! I could go on for hours about how the show was the greatest night of my life, about how it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen and how I cried the whole time... but I think the photos I took speak for themself. f/1.8 - 1/400 - 35mm - 3200 ISO I am not exaggerating when I say that I listened to nothing but "Worlds" and the remakes of the live edits for the entire year following the show. I'm only just now starting to open myself back up to other artists and I'm listening to Porter even as I type this. I also went on to host "The Sky Lounge", the official Plug.DJ (R.I.P.) community of /r/PorterRobinson (for those who frequent that subreddit). 【=◈︿◈=】【=◈︿◈=】【=◈︿◈=】
