thefence2113
Preferably something with 8-16gb RAM and 500+/- gb HDD. (2009 or later) I have SOME cash and some things to trade: 500gb PS4 with 3 controllers, a game, headset, all boxes/manuals/cables/etc. (Used about a month and half and only for Netflix) Cambridge Azur 551p phono preamp with all original packaging and extra cables. Might be willing to let go of my AudioEngine A2 (white) active speakers as well.
StrangeTerrain
good luck finding an apple computer with 8-16gb ram for under 2,000 though. apple is terribly overpriced for what you get. build a hackintosh and call it a day. just a suggestion
thefence2113
I'm not looking for anything too new. Most of what I've seen on eBay and Craigslist suggests I can get something decent with at least 8gb for ~$650. I've never used an Apple computer and I really just want to satisfy the curiosity. I needed something for gaming and editing and it definitely does the job. I also recommend Hackintosh on your machine so you can try out the OS before deciding to buy a Mac. JoseReyes87
you can get a macbook air refurb or on clearance off the apple site from 650-800 dollars. I have bought a few Apple computers/products this way. Best way to go. Now on the PC building side.. yes you can build a mid range pc for about 500-700 dollars. But the man wants a MAC!! Honestly if youre gonna build a PC ppl build a mid-high to high end one for 750-1100.... I can link you to the clearance section, can be a little hard to navigate too ha
thefence2113
Well, that didn't take long. I ended up making a deal for a MacBook Pro with "thedudeabidesx" Thanks for the advice anyway, guys.
bgdesign
I have a 2008 Macbook Pro that isn't being used. I can give you the specs on it when I get home from work. Maybe we can workout a deal. Edit: Nevermind, just read you got one.
