raynerho
Hi All, Just wanna throw this out there to whoever looking for a great Singapore Pop Punk band. They are releasing a Limited edition 10th Anniversary EP of their album "The Gift" so I thought it would be good to expose this band to the VC family. They are really huge in our local scene. I just came home from their Anniversary show. It was awesome! Just wanna share the love and hope you guys enjoy Plainsunset as much as me! To listen to the tracks: http://plainsunset.bandcamp.com To order the vinyl: http://29-cornflakes.myshopify.com/products/plainsunset-the-gift-10th-anniversary-ep-lp Every vinyl comes with a download code to download "The GIft", "The Gift 10th Anniversary EP" and "The Gift Covers" which is essentially other Singapore bands covering some tracks from "The Gift" Info from the webstore: Plainsunset plays an underrated yet pivotal role in Singapore's music scene. 10 years after the release of their monumental album "The Gift", the band has entered the studio to re-record 5 of their favorite tracks to be released on collectors vinyl through 29 Cornflakes. Every LP comes with screen printed cover, pulled by Kristal Melson (illustrator behind the cover artwork). Each cover is unique and no two covers are the same. 100 on Blue vinyl 150 on Yellow vinyl Recorded by Leonard Soosay at Snakeweed Studios Mastered by Ed Brooks (Death Cab For Cutie, Fleet Foxes, Pearl Jam) at RFI MasteringIllustrations and Artwork by Kristal Melson Track Listing: The Gift 10th Anniversary LP Side A: The Season Is Still Open (new track) Quiet Time Julia Side B: Photos of Us Girl on Queen Street Checking E-mail The Gift (Original Recording) Quiet Time Next In Line Girl On Queen Street Photos of Us Checking E-mail I Know Closure My American Beauty Julia Speed Limit If I Could Compose a Song, This Wouldn't Be It Last Night In Wellington Regina Direction Do I? brandy

brandy
Recommended if you like: The Movielife, The Get Up Kids, early Saves The Day, Rufio. Personally, I much prefer the 'original recordings', so if you're gonna check them out, check those out first. Very high-energy and catchy stuff.
