Anybody know what exactly we should have received for the 2011 sub?
check the list out here: http://www.discogs.com/label/Volcom%20Ent.%20Vinyl%20Club
*actually, i thought the year on the right corresponds with the subscription year, but it does not it seems.

dammmnn i was out of town for this, bummer!
-
haha holy shit it does! that is wild did not notice that at all
-
putting this on 12" records at $20ish a pop is dumb. not buying.
-

Main story here: thou might be done.

IT helpdesk for a fairly large law firm branch here in the city. i haven't had any real travel/commute costs in like 2.5 years... i love riding a bike to work. that helps me reason out the impulse purchases constantly.

jeez, seriously! there a lot of free parking around that is not really sketchy at all. it's b/w howard U and u st...$$$. lots of demo changes in the last couple years in the NW.
car free way to be

awesome! bonus points it's at gilead, picked up a couple other things...shitty situation for that dude

I was there too! I had never heard Part Chimp before, but I dug what they were doing. They needed to cut their set about 15-20 minutes, though..
I've seen Regents play like 6 or 7 times, they are totally one of my favorite current bands.
i agree it went a little long, but after all, they are disbanding after this tour apparently. so i'll take it. and i've seen torche i think 4 times this year. regents were very cool. i enjoyed the chumps set also, angular.
The 3 Torche songs on the split are all covers from Guided By Voices....
right. they played one of them. im talking about stuff from their next full length. the drumming definitely stood out.
and part chimp....i think that's their steez. loud noises.
-
picked this up last night... along with the part chimp 7". fucking awesome tour....glad to catch part chimp, so goddamn abrasive and loud!
torches new songs sound fucking promising!

Who really wants a Clutch beanie these days?
uhhhh have you seen the majority of their fanbase? they b rockin clutch beanies like whoa
-
na, yea i hear that....i dunno it just almost feels wankery for the sake of wankery
-
caught them last night. there is no wax with them on this tour. side note, i just can't get into post-colors btbam, it feels very unfocused. and doing an 'old albums medley' is meh, imo. closed with mordecai, though.
-
just got this in the mail. immediately see package is bent. fuck. i've never gotten something this bad. The jacket is bent and the lp slightly warped. i'm not too happy about this. hopefully I can get this worked out. not paying $60 for this.

i just saw these guys on saturday. im thinkin to myself listening, damn, this sounds like torche and alice in chains. then literally seconds ago, just saw it was produced by william duvall, hm no shit. i didn't really like them.
-
YES! I was thinking to myself recently what's been up with them. Can't wait to hear this next one. Fantastic live act.
-
same here with me...weird. stoked to see part chimp. i dig 'i am come'.
-

seriously cant say enough about these guys live. first saw them in 2004 on the take action tour with their blinding, mesmerizing set. have seen them 5 or 6 times, funnest being at the FU church in philly and rock n roll hotel in dc a couple years ago. less and less i've been having those 'lose your shit' moments, but when 43% burnt of sugar coated sour start up, i have no choice.
awesome you got to see them! im sure they were stoked also...
150 ppl? damn, i hope the show space wasn't huge, i hate that. suck for the promoter
