  1. Yeah they change it up sometimes but you are usually gonna get what, 20 songs a night? If 2 or 3 of them are different, that is pretty much the same setlist in my book. And there is no guarantee you get that. I have an original setlist from Detroit that has the title "Cleveland - Agora Theater" or something like that written on the top. So clearly that was the same setlist used twice in a row.

So if you are gonna see a band twice in a row, I think you just have to set yourself up for the same show twice and if you get different songs, just count it as a welcomed surprise.

I totally agree! That's sweet that you pulled the setlist!

  2. They never play "Say I Won't (Recognize)" (my favorite) and they almost always play "Film Noir" (which I think is one of their worst songs).

    .

That's funny, I have the gaslight anthem's Live at Park Ave on 10* and I absolutely love Film Noir. Maybe it's just the particular version I enjoy. I still remember the first time I heard it. Great song on my end.

Not as big of a fan of it on The '59 Sound.

  3. Ok guys, I need y'all's opinion/help. I have been storing my vinyl on the ground (in the correct position) for a while now. I just got married so I have about $400 in gift cards at Crate & Barrel. Only problem is, the only place to put this type of furniture (open book case without doors on the front) is right next to the door that leads into the kitchen. The stove is probably 5 feet from where the shelf would be.

My wife keeps pushing me to get this type of shelf, but I am terrified because of what I have read on here about what could happen if moisture/steam was to get onto the vinyl or perhaps even the heat from the stove? I keep looking for something with doors on it to keep out some of the elements.

Here's the big question....am I just being paranoid? I really do like a lot of the shelves I have found without doors on them and after checking out this thread I've seen a lot of people have their vinyl stored in a piece of furniture like this. To be honest, we barely ever use the stove.

    Thoughts?

Post a pic of the area in question...

  5. Just had my local HT call in my order since none of the stores in my area will be getting it soon. should have it in a few days!

I just called the San Marcos location the second I saw your post to see if they would do that....but...to no avail. He said there was only one other place that might have it and that would be in San Antonio at Ingram Park.

If any wants the number I can shoot that to you.

  7. "The Postal Service’reunion coincides with the 10th anniversary of their lone album, 2003′s Give Up. The band is commemorating the occasion with a deluxe reissue of the album, complete with 15 bonus tracks, which include two brand new songs (!) entitled “Turn Around” and “A Tattered Line of String”. So while Ben Gibbard has no plans to record a followup, at least he’s giving you a pair of new tracks. Thanks, Gibby!

The set also includes a previously unreleased live recording, remixes, and “every other official recording the band has ever released,” as well as cover versions of The Postal Service recorded by The Shins and Iron & Wine.

The reissue was mastered by Grammy nominated engineers Emily Lazar and Joe Laporte, and will be available as a 2xCD, 3xLP and digitally on April 8th in the UK and Europe and April 9th in North America through Sub Pop. A very limited “Loser” edition of the 3xLP will be pressed on colored vinyl.

My favorite part of this apart from the 2 new songs...."the band will support the reissue with an appearance at this year’s Coachella, with other concerts and festival appearances to be announced shortly."

    Now, that's just naughty.
