I think I read Bowie wasn't going to tour on his new material.

I really really really want to get this before I see them in Austin at the Moody Theatre and then the next night in Houston at the Bayou Music Center. I hate there's another delay! I have even held off on buying this on ITunes because all I want is this on sweet vinyl.

Fucking rad!!! I got to see Manchester Orchestra and Cage the Elephant together about a year ago.

I wouldn't quite shoot down the possibility yet. Who knows if they will enjoy playing with eachother again and that in turn leads to a new album.

The price is an obvious mark against them. I just felt really taken advantage of, and they blatantly false advertized. The TBT/Lucero split was advertized as ' strictly only available for preorder for 14 days' and 'extremely limited'. This was mid October, and the record is still up there store today. I've emailed a few times and gotten a run around but no real explanation. I only sprang on this because I thought I'd have no chance to own it otherwise. I would have definitely waited if I had known this. Bottom line is they flat out lied.

 

Wow....that really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I can see where that would leave a sour taste in your mouth. 

I agree. Kills me to shell out that kind of loot. 

 

But...I couldn't pass on the Civil Wars/Lumineers split. I've listened to it every day since I ordered it a while back. 

What happened? Took forever to get shipped? 

Anyone going to pick this one up? 

 

I've seen Sondre Lerche live before...not too shabby. Not sure if that warrants a buy since he'll only have one song on the 12".

That is bad ass. I just saw him at the Continental Club in Austin a week or so ago. It was cold as hell out, and there were only like 50 to 60 people there. Really fun experience. 

Boy bands reached perfection when KNOTB recorded Tonight. Everyone knows that.

Anybody else into Sacred Harp singing? I got into it from the soundtrack, and have been to quite a few singings. Some that I've been to, I noticed a lot of the singers were the same people as in the concert they have in the special features on the DVD, including Tim Eriksen, who was one of the musicians/arrangers on the soundtrack

 

That's really cool. Wonder if they have anything like this around Austin.

I figure this can get answered pretty quick, but I was wondering if this was ever pressed to vinyl?
