No it's not. I think a few years ago I would be way more into this, I appreciate their last two LP's, and they are really fun live. But, ugh I don't know about Defeater anymore. Feels weak.

I have complained about high shipping costs as well, but as far as I'm aware there's no rule for these boards saying that I can't, so i'll keep on doing it.

The new record is FREE to download!  So any accusation that the band is greedy is baseless.  
 
If you think a band has to justify what it charges for its record to someone on a freaking message board, then I see no merit in a debate. Are there any bands that would do this?
 
Unfortunately it did take forever to get the record finished, and I feel crappy about the time it took to fulfill the items for the Kickstarter backers who got vinyl.  It always takes us an eternity to get something done!  Living in different parts of the world makes it worse.
There are personal things that happen which are out of the "bands" control when it comes to finishing a project, so it's not like we were just taking our sweet time.  If the guy who records you decides he's going to do sound for another band on tour for 2 months, what can you do?  You gotta wait.  What if you want to get married?  Welp, there's a couple more weeks you're not concentrating on the record.  What if someone's going on vacation and they still need to do their vocals on a song?  What if someone's dad died during the recording process?

Grabbed a Lunar/Solar, expensive, especially with postage to the UK, but worth it!

Fuck that's the Autoclave 10" right? Need that so bad.
