Mindflayers can be kept in stun w repeated R2s as well. I'm using the cane as main.

For sack dudes, I go in for 3 or 4 R2s. Keeps em stunned. Then either repeat, or finish with some fast R1 if their health is low enough

All I have is a 360 so the remaster is a no go for Blade.

You can still get the new version bundled with DLC on 360... I think it's $50 for 360/PS3 and DLCs are $10 each, individually.

So for bloodborne I've beaten the following bosses...

Cleric Beast - 1st attempt

Father G - 3rd attempt

Blood starved beast - 1st attempt

Vicar - 1st attempt

Witch - 1st attempt

Paarl - 3rd attempt (think I was underleveled 1st 2 tries, came back later.)

So far no bosses giving trouble... Have more problems with minor baddies and mobs at times.

Feels nice to b making a dent in it.

Out of curiosity, has anyone found any great benefit from leveling their bloodtinge? Seems like a fairly worthless stat unless you want to use guns for more than just staggering foes.

Could maybe see it being useful if you main a weapon that scales with it.

I think I was about 88. It was so nerve racking starting NG+ with almost 200,000 echoes and no doll! I just quickly ran as far along as I did in playthrough 1 until she awoke lol.

This reminds me so much of demons, ends the same way, get tons of souls from final boss, NG+, can't level til you beat 1-1... Managed to take on Exwcutioner Miralda without dying and then 1 shot phalanx.

I can't wait to try it. Even tho I played it to death on PS3, I keep bugging my local shop to get me one cause I'd rather buy there but it's taking a little longer. He had only a few PS4 copies day 1 and by the time I went in that night, they'd sold. Was told it should b torrid or the next day.
