I'm honestly surprised FPS wasn't immediately dropped

Seriously.

But can someone fill me in on the other stuff?  I read about FPS but don't know who Harry and JJR are.  Also, the only decent bands on PN are TSSF and State Champs and I don't really follow either of them anymore so I have no problem not buying anything from PN again.

But here's where I'm conflicted and genuinely want someone to educate me... I found an absolutepunk link and they basically name a ton of bands and then Fireworks is mentioned as a band who either supported or made jokes regarding the situation... this has me absolutely gutted... can someone either summarize or point me in the right direction?  I guess I should ask this in the boycott thread...

How do you not drop them from your label immediately?  No piddling amount of money is worth compromising morals.

After checking out that thread realized that label has 2 cases of a similar type of situation?  That's really bad, they need to drop both those bands immediately.

I think the only band they have that I like is TSSF.  I haven't bought their most recent.  At this point would only consider buying it if they drop that scumbag from their label.

If I was in a band on that label I would not be happy.

Just long enough to supress a few hiccups, when your lungs are fullest they will supress your diaphragm from being able to spasm (the cause of hiccups) and it should stop... works for me 100% of the time, sometimes takes a few spasms though.  Also works for most other people who I've shown it to, only time it hasn't is when people treat it as a joke. (think I'm pranking them into looking stupid.)

I had a call center job for AT&T and it really prepared me for any customer service job thereafter.  When every single customer you get is already seething angry at you before you even speak one word, you get really good at:

a. damage control

b. not giving a shit

 

The latter came in handy a lot more often.

I never get angry with CS reps.  I always stay calm and tell them it's not their fault if they say 'sorry'.  Getting mad just gets you shittier service.  Staying calm gets you 50% off.  Cooler heads prevail.

Never been on a plane? Do you drive or just stay in town?

A little of both. XD Never gone overseas, so never had the necessity to fly.  Some people fly cross-country/cross-continent, but I've done 25 hr drives.

Yeah I have ear and sinus stuff and have never flown and don't really look forward to the idea. :/

I think Tess is a flight attendant?  Guessing it has to do with the pressure change?  I have ear stuffs and been told it could be painful to fly.  Never have.

I ordered AEGES first LP from the Mylene Sheath and after about 3 weeks I was wondering what was going on, so I emailed them.  Quick response telling me that they misplaced my order, sorry ect....  It will be shipped tomorrow.....  4 days later it arrived with 2 extra AEGES 7"s in the box with an apology note.  How awesome.  All my other orders from The Mylene Sheath have been great.

That's actually really awesome of them.   Sounds like they made it worth the wait after all.

My main thing with genre tag annoyance is when a band has clearly dubbed themselves as something, as if they invented their own genre when they are clearly taking massive amounts of influence from already existing bands.  If journalists or fans, or a music scene dubs you as something stupid, fine, but if you just make something up yourself, it's kind of like giving yourself a nickname and then asking everyone you meet to call you by it.

Yeah riddler trophies are the only thing I didn't bother with, but I played and beat the game a week before it was released. It would be a lot easier now that there are guides out, but I already stopped playing and deleted the 50 gig install file, so I don't think I'll bother.

Swipes are limited?

I only used it for a brief time. When sober my only "swipe left" criterias were: kid in the picture, wearing camp/confederate flag anything, no pic, or completely grotesque (which was actually quite rare). When drunk I didn't even look.

Pretty much exactly the same criteria here, but yeah swipes are limited and then you have to wait for them to replenish or sign up for a paid account.

I know I can, but for some reason, whenever I tried to activate it, the game doesn't prompt me to do anything. He just says he's going to the rendezvous point (which I have no idea what or where that is and no markers come up on the map).

I never had that problem.  Can't comment on that.  Don't remember any such difficulties.  Try going to GCPD and see if anything happens?  Or the clock tower is another common landmark.  Or make more progress and try again?  Hate to imply, but worst case scenario is you've encountered a bug.
