Kind of a cool thing to do in-game is to check the GCPD cell holdings. It'll have a maximum percentage and then if the regular and supervillian cells are full. And it's all tied to the overall game, so you say you're at 87%, maximum occupation will read 87%. But anyways...

 

The game needs to register 100% before you can activate Knightfall Protocol. Main Quest and ALL side Most Wanted missions. Gotham needs to be completely "safe", in other words.

I'll have to check the GCPD tonight.

 

It's weird that the game is telling me I can activate it, though. I have 5 side missions left to complete: Firefighters, Checkpoints, Riddler, Street Bombs, and Azrael. Maybe I have to at least finish the Deathstroke ones?

I already answered this in my previous post, but I guess it went unnoticed so I will reiterate... this 'spoiler' is just for you two who are discussing it:

You absolutely 100% without a doubt CAN activate nightfall protocol BEFORE you get 100% completion... HOWEVER you will NOT get the canon ending. You will get a cheap version of it and it will tell you to complete the game to get the REAL ending.

All you need to do is finish MOST of the game to activate it. But again, that will not be the CANON ending, just a tease and then it will tell you 'beat everything and then activate again for the REAL Knightfall Protocol ending.

So, I'm about 87% complete with Arkham Knight and...

I completed enough Most Wanted missions to activate Knightfall Protocol, but when I do nothing happens. Batman asks Alfred for the Batwing and says he's going to the GCPD rendezvous point. I have no idea where that is and no marker is placed on the map. I guess it's either a glitch or they still want me to get more stuff done. Not sure if I wanna tackle all that Riddler stuff, though. I never had the patience for those...

Hm sounds like you haven't finished the main quest though?  maybe you have to complete that first?  not sure just a guess but I did main quest and then finished a few more sidequests and then activated... but...

You won't get the full canon ending anyway unless you do 100% of the sidequests which includes all 200+ riddler trophies. You'll still get a cutscene if you don't, but not the proper knightfall protocol ending.

Hahaha that's funny... I can interpret that in 2 ways...

either giving permission: 'now it's okay for you to have a good day cause I said so'

or keeping options open... 'you can have a good day, or not, its really up to you.'

Only real advice if you caved is, accept it, move past it and try to improve.... if you went 2 days and then caved, brush yourself off and try to go 3 days before you risk reverting back to your usual consumption... keep weening.

Had tinder for 2 weeks, deleted it, tried okc, deleted after a few days.... not enough people in my area signed up for either to really be useful.  I guess people don't wanna put themselves out there and I started to feel that too and took my profiles down.  I guess most everyone's already paired up and I've missed the boat.

I was thinking a section for all non-vinyl formats would be cool.  Cassette stuff could go in there instead or being relegated to single thread.

Does it seem like there's enough of a need and enough support for something like that to make it worth pursuing?

There was some rallying for that a while back, but nothing ever became of it.

Psyched on Dark 3, but mostly wondering if there's been any indication of when Bloodborne DLC will arrive...

I've been assuming sometime in the fall Sept-Nov, but have nothing to really base it on, other than the DLC window for Dark 2.

So. I'm 30 and it's come to that part of my life where I have someone whom I love and has given me a reason to quit. Plus eating up money and so on and so forth.

I'm preparing myself for this in the only way I know and that's in baby steps. I've stopped smoking in the house, and have switched over to lights. Next week it's to ultra lights and then, the patch. I can't do cold turkey. Tried and failed miserably. It's been 15 years so I've got a feeling it's gonna be rough.

Anyway - figured this could be a spot to get/give advice if anyone has successfully kicked it. What worked for you, and all that bullshit.

I quit cigs back in '08/'09 so it's been about 6 and a half years now... few years back I wrote a huge writeup on it, I think in the e-cig thread... lemme see if I can find it, then I'll copy/paste... too lazy to add or alter anything at this point, although I'm sure I've got a few new insights, or ones that I just forgot to include the first time.

*edit* after searching I can't find it, so it must've been in another thread... sorry, maybe if I'm feeling up to it I'll type up something similar again... my first point of advice would be to keep stretching them out further and further until your distaste for them grows.  If the cigarette ever feels too large between your fingers, or like it doesn't fit in your fingers the way it did before, don't light up, that's the mental addiction losing its grip.
