Pretty much every used record says,"Vinyl looks nice, has a few surface marks." They then grade it "Very Good Plus". I'm assuming these surface marks dont affect playing quality? Has anybody tried to return a used record or is it buyer beware? Thanks for the help.

I just ordered a record on Monday (yes before the November code came out) that was listed as VG+ with "some paper scuffs that should not affect play".  I will let you know how it turns out (it shipped yesterday).  However, I have ordered from Amoeba in the past and have never been disappointed.

Listen? Does your question have something to do with the color of the vinyl? If not, I don't think it belongs in here...

Haha I just listened today. Nothing to compare it to (vinyl-wise) but it sounded nice and crisp (no distortion etc). Wish it was heavier on the bottom-end (insert joke here) but all in all it sounded good. Not blown away but not disappointed at all.

Just got home from work and it was in my door (got the shipping notice at 1:35 today). Pleasant surprise.

Welp site is still proccessing my pament on screen but ive gotten email conformation from both paypal and mondo LOL. Wish i couldve got a slipmat but oh well.

 

Same thing happened to me.  I got a print yesterday and it stayed on the 'checkout' screen for a while and in the meantime I got the confirm email.  Same thing happened today.

Me too. I'm in for sure for this package, but I wish it was Blu-Ray.

I also agree, but given the anti-digital nature of JW we should be thankful it isn't on VHS (or audio-less DVD which we need to synch-up with the LPs, wizard of oz style).

A Mondo 'The Shining' soundtrack would be sweet, but I think there may be existing licensing issues.

I still really want one of these. Would even consider swapping a sealed PJ20 3LP for it.

I realize the thread fell to page 5 (maybe for a reason) but I had to chime in. Just got this in the mail and am pleased as to how good this sounds. I have other MOV releases that sound iffy but, nostalgia aside, this one is a winner.

Hey does anyone have info about the differences (if any) between the US and EU versions (particularly the records)? I know the jackets are different as pics on eBay show 'printed in the EU' on the bottom of the back cover. Just wondering if they were pressed in different spots too.
