yeah I read that last night - unbelievably sad

Lot of tempting stuff on there - ended up grabbing a pair of records from you.
Thanks for the heads up.

Big Lebowski OST is also on sale @ Soundstage Direct for $9.99.

Kinda agree. To say they are hit/miss with the quality of their stuff is generous. When I saw this, I was hoping someone else was pressing it...

Looks like Plain Records is re-issuing GodWeenSatan: The Oneness on pink/blue colored vinyl.
Below is the link from SSD (which is usually a bit overpriced). I didn't see this at any other site. No release date noted (might not be until Nov based on info on JSR Merch (Ween's merch site)).

Haha, my bad broseph. I took it as you being disappointed.
All good - looking forward for it to arrive.

I don't get it. Why does that bother you?
If YOU were pumped for it, who cares if it's not a big seller?
I'm not bothered at all. The point of my comment was that I couldn't get this locally, so I thought it was gonna be one of those hard-to-get ones that I would have to track down. Turns out it wasn't. I thought that was funny, so I shared the thought here. I don't care about the expected "value" or " demand" of records, I buy records that I want to listen to.
I should have added a smiley face or something after my initial comment so that it was clear I wasn't complaining about anything.

So enough of this rare stuff, how about RSD titles you were excited about that turns out aren't in demand. I was pumped for GWAR and the local shop didn't get any, so I ordered online first chance I could and it turns out this might still be sitting around for next RSD...

My local shop charged $49.99 - got the last one yesterday. Had trouble getting the $$ out of my wallet for that price but oh well, tis the season...

PoT is up for pre-order at Soundstage Direct - $34.99 + shipping. I use the code "SH" for 11% off. I think its free shipping for orders over $50.

I placed an order - such a good album.

I just saw that the Mad Men soundtrack is on sale @ SoundStage Direct for $14.99. I haven't heard it and know little about it, but SSD has been dropping the prices on a lot of the Music on Vinyl titles, so I figured I would pass it along..

How do you tell how many are remaining? I want this Elliot Smith, but not sure how fast to jump on it...
Just add some high # to your cart and it usually gives you a message saying how many are available to order.
I tried to add 5,000 copies of that Elliot Smith record to my cart and it gave me this message - "Sorry, we only have 508 pieces available for:
Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith [blue Vinyl] [Vinyl] (103-2095055N)".

Just completed a trade with kylet that couldn't have gone smoother.

The MOV pressing of Alice in Chains Unplugged impresses me every time I play it.
Also, the ORG pressing of Beck's Odelay sounds dang good.
One more - Tales from the Punchbowl from Primus sounds really really nice.

There is already a thread for the 30% off sale at GoHastings.com (using the code "INTUNE") - since a bunch of the reissues are included in the sale I figured I would post here too.
Let Love In - $13.50 with code
http://www.gohastings.com/mobileProduct/POPMUSIC/Let-Love-In/sku/295870068.uts
Tender Prey - $13.50 with code
http://www.gohastings.com/mobileProduct/POPMUSIC/Tender-Prey/sku/295870066.uts
Firstborn - $14.00 with code
http://www.gohastings.com/mobileProduct/POPMUSIC/Firstborn-Is-Dead/sku/295207838.uts

http://www.gohastings.com/mobileProduct/POPMUSIC/Kicking-Against-the-Pricks/sku/295381976.uts
The other reissued titles are out of stock, but the sale runs all month in case they re-stock.

RAD! Thanks for the heads up.. now to wait for the Self Titled to also go on the same sale
It looks like the MOV titles are slowly going on sale on their website. I get emails from SSD from time to time with their new "blowout sale" items. On their website, you can sort by MOV titles priced low-to-high and see what they have on sale. I will be checking back regularly as there are few MOV titles I had my eye on (if only they were a bit cheaper).

Disco Volante and California are $17.99 each on Soundstage Direct (not sure if they are the black or colored version).

http://www.soundstagedirect.com/mr-bungle-california-180-gram-vinyl-records.shtml
Use the code "SH" for an additional 15% off (for some reason, it only takes 15% off one of the records)
