I really want the Sean Bonnette 7" to keep up my AJJ collection, and Rozwell Kid is awesome, but $40 for 4 7"s is so steep.
-
It just sold out , the first one.
Awh man That's what I get for putting it off. I'll cross my fingers for a repress or distro copies showing up somewhere.
-
I need to pick up the first 7" soon, that EP is so good. All hail the Asian Man sub!
-
Got around to listening to today. Not bad at all. Gonna have to listen a few more times and see where my heart feels.
Keep up the fight. I love this album.
-
No one is ready for this album. I can't decide if I want to preorder or wait.
-
I didn't get it, so it must have been.
-
I just listened to the song TE released off this. I can't decide if his voice is annoying or not. It's kind of like nails on a chalkboard, but it's kind of endearing at the same time.
I can't decide either.
-
I snagged this along with the two variants for the Shinobu record. I wish the Dogs On Acid 7" was available already, but I know Asian Man is cool about combining orders.
All good choices!
-
They said they're working on getting some in US distros so I'm gonna cross my fingers and hold out.
I absolutley love this band, and I was such a big ONSIND fan when this EP came out that it hit me really hard.
-
Incase nobody here peeps the Rocky Votolato thread, code: winter will get you 25% off orders... and yet again I regret PO'ing a record. Bleh.
Thanks for the tip Rambo! That price is too good to beat and the screened B-side on the clear LP will look dope.
-
I love having the Asian Man sub, can't wait for this one to come.
-
Hot damn, that B-side is rad.
-
I doubt they're anywhere near 900 vinyl club subscriptions. I think they just made a note that the sea foam is the one they will get.
Beat me to it.
-
So that variant is what the record club gets but is also for sale on its own? Good to know.
That must be the case. It confused me at first, then I realized there was no way 900 have the subscription

I'm really excited for this! But I'm going to hold out until the tour to pick it up along with the new Smith Street album. That's going to be an expensive show for me.

btw the record release surprise was Joyce Manor playing under the moniker Snowcones. Haven't been able to see em play in such a small setting for 2 years now, so happy.
It was awesome getting to see them at VLHS, and those new songs they played were great. I ended up seeing Joyce 5 times last year (between July and January) which was rad but a little much.
-
So this has actually shipped? I haven't heard anything at all. I was a bit bummed that I didn't get a download code after the purchase and ended up buying the album in FLAC as well to hold me over.
The only one I ordered online was the test press (the rest I got from the merch table) but everything should have shipped out. I've seen Lauren Records posting shipping updates on Facebook.

Here's an interview that Mike and Bob did with Noisey detailing the history of the band - for anyone interested.

This album seriously does get better with each listen. And I can't count the number of times I've put it on.

The cover art isn't a photograph either, it is a drawing.
-
Tempted to get this with Smith Street Band, hmm.
Just do it!!!!!

so all the people in red made no mention of gifts or did not pic (if you did please let me know).
im leaving it up to you guys.. would you rather just not let them do it next year since they can't follow rules? or have to deliver by a deadline and if not, they can't ship by deadline they are out and we will stick a alternative person in their place.. help me out. i know some of you were pretty bummed your ss's didn't even say thank you and i know that can be pretty disappointing.
also what do you think about Christmas in April and doing this again. but limited to maybe something small.
My recipient posted a pic and thanks so I can't really speak on whether or not the people who didn't should be included next year. I'll leave that up to the Santas who weren't thanked.
But Christmas in April sounds like a great time!

I lucked out and found a great OG copy of S/T for $8 and an OG copy of Louder Than Bombs for $10. I have the reissue of Meat is Murder without "How Soon is Now", but in the same trip I picked up the other OGs I found a 12" single of it.
So I am content.

I hate the song Holy Trend but I love everything else by SDF. But I won't fight anyone who disagrees

Ditto! It sounds like it will be a lot different than Paul Walker, but still awesome.
