Yea I mean if the copyright owner says "hey you are facilitating the unauthorized resaling of our property we are going to sue you" they really don't have a choice. Even if it is silly. Old ass bootlegs will probably remain untouched because if the property owner hasn't cared for this long they probably won't find out that Kanye's label had a few bootlegs taken down and jump to action.
Yeah I 100% get it. But in a way it's a catch 22 because in a collectors market and there's a place for bootlegs especially when there's no alternative in site. And discogs isn't selling (one could argue they'll facilitate the sale though but then again it's a collectors market) it people on their marketplace are. One could argue that in a collectors market discogs is just working as a buying and selling platform, and shouldn't been held responsible for what their buyers and sellers do as long as it isn't scamming (giving someone a boot when they thought they were getting an OP) at the same time copywrite when it comes to music is a huge deal so I get why they're doing this. idk to me, it's diffrent than uploading a song and hosting it on mega file becuase it's a physical collectors piece. But I understand big corp doesn't see it that way.
I don't know in my head I feel it's a bit silly becuase to my knowledge these items could easily be sold on ebay, so why is one held responsible and the other not?(hopefully I articulated my point well)

Ignore my last post. I hate the new layout and for some reason it won't let me write my reply, delete or edit it so forgive me.
I get why they're doing it but sadly I think it's a bad practice for the community becuase it's going to get more and more wide spread until you can only get boots on other sites and I personally would have always use discogs for as a first choice.
Boots are an important part of the community like it or not, and I think it would only make sense for the largest music market place to carry them and I think with the vinyl resurgence I think find the recent crackdown annoying but I 100% get where it's coming from but I just find it a bit silly becuase how far is too far? Are they gonna block selling of older rare boots a well. (More than likely not but who's to day that wouldn't happen)
But at the end of the day copywrite law -

It's not all bootlegs. Just TLOP and Acid Rap you can't sell on Discogs.
Yeezus, Cruel Summer, Graduation, etc. are all still available.
-
Forgive me if this has already been answered but, why can't you buy or sell this on discogs?
Do they have some sort of new policy about bootlegs? -

My order was cancelled. I reckon they may have got their wrists slapped over this one. Shame.
They do have an interesting looking Lemonade bootleg too.

The link is broken, may be gone again too.

Got a cancellation notice? Link doesn't work anymore either
Damn they may have gotten served. Which I can totally see becuase OVO seems to be on top of their vinyl releases as of late. I can see this coming in October after DVSN on vinyl comes out.

I just hate how most Hip Hop is boots now. I'd rather have a super professional release of this with the photobook. Which is can 100% see them doing becuase both Party and Majid have official releases.
So I may wait on this one. Especially if he's doing reissues. -
Abandoning the amazing sound on Daisy for this cliche pop punk bullshit in 2016
I really don't want this album to be bad but with the awfulness that was meme and this single. This album isn't looking good.- jeremysi, Tommy and copelandkid

There's not enough division. Everything is white and just blends in. I also don't like how big the messages are now.

As much I hated Hotline Bling when it came out, and even though it was a bonus track, it was a nice way to end the album, it's nostalgia and it's an important part of Drake's career and it's very much a great way to close out this era.

I agree. Shallow and pedantic...
Also, SUPREME IS ONLY WORTH A SHIT BECAUSE OF TYLER AND YOU FUCKING KNOW IT. NOBODY GAVE A FUCK UNTIL HE WAS WEARING AND RAPPING ABOUT IT.
Supreme has been around for 20 years, and has been a vital part of NYC skate and youth culture. It can be seen worn in the 1996 movie kids. Supreme has collaborated with man yartists and designers including people like Morrissey, Black Sabbath, Harmony Korine, Daniel Johnston, Disney, Terry Richardson, Undercover, Larry Clark, 36 Mafia, and New Order to name a few. It's a brand that's a pivotal part of modern youth culture. Yeah OF popularized it but it's still not to the point where you think it is. It's not just some stupid mall-core brand like you're trying to write it off as.
