far from complete but when i started collecting records i wasnt going to pay hundreds for a single record. now that i am back to collecting maybe i can get some of those rare ones.

this is far from being completed. im not one of those nuts that spends hundreds of dollars on misfits vinyl. i think the most i ever paid for a misfits record was 50 dollars.

i usually do that too. i bought it from a records store and the guy will open up records and reseal them to see the color. i already had like 3 other copies so i figure i would keep it sealed because its more of a collectors item for me. man i will look at the vinyl before i leave the store. bastard. does anyone have a red static age they want to get rid off?

opening up a vinyl that says its on color vinyl and its black. i was going to take a photo of my misfits collection for you in the other thread when i realized i never opened a copy of static age that said it was on red... i always assumed. the guy i bought it from is pretty reputable. i bought the red and yellow static age records like 5 years ago and only opened the yellow. boy this really has me bummed.

this would be awesome it if were to happen....i find it strange that not many people have adrenaline as there fav. it is my all time favorite record the deftones put out...maybe because thats the first one i listened to back in high school. it always got me pumped before my hockey games. also with the bro-ish stuff you guys are talking about, it never crossed my mind. but then again adrenaline was in rotation with bands like corrosion and sepultura and the like....fuck that red hat wearin bitch.

yeah i see what you guys are saying. i do prefer black over color but when i was younger and collecting, color was the more limited record so that is what you bought. i will usually buy all colors of a pressing if i love a band to death. thats why im hoping that mike park doesnt give the larry arms and broadways the 10 color variant treatment. if that happens i think that might be the hardest test for me and my new wife of 3 months

im sure there is but it seems like everytime virgil puts up a preorder or a new record its always color you are picking from

when a repress is done on a record do they not do black? since joining vc i see all the new records pressed on color and not black. ie.alkaline trio is this due to the fact that black is run in the first press with a greater quantity? help a brotha understand

i can help you out with that one glennson. but i dont know how to pm. never tried it yet. since being on this board it has brought me to a whole new level in my music listening but when i opened that photo the top right was the first thing that said hey.... you know that one. not sure on color but i know the color of the album i have.
