Yeah, you just have to be sure not to make it lopsided to one side or the other. Taking 2 old trashed one's you can tape them on the outsides (8-10 pieces) to hold them still while you cut out the center. A rotary tool works best to chip away the insides. Extra time around the inside edges not to make them to large(cutting into the guides records). Some 45's already have a natural groove where it'd be cut out other's like picture discs don't. Good luck with that. Make sure they're the 45 format first as well, the one's that have a small hole and are 33 1/3 will play on mine although I've yet to see one like that myself. Most of mine are all large hole 45 single's. Well maybe I'll shoot you a want list sometime but it's hard knowing what is out there sometimes. I like any Pink Floyd or Black Sabbath type stuff (Ozzy included) or any Zeppelin besides the 3x I have already. Depends on what you want to get rid of and what is in juke shape ($1 or so apiece) and what isn't I'd imagine as well... lmk if you're looking to rid yourself of a small lot for some spending coin maybe.

Here's one of them that is now worthless to 99.90 percent of the board's members I'm sure. Not to me though as it spins at the correct speed for it's centers circumference now. 1x White Stripes "new" 45 , 1x Rotary tool , a few different sized bits for shaving, and 2 trashed 45's for guidelines (tape the older one's to it for precision holes) =

The Coheed and Cambria is 33.3 but it has the larger hole rather than the small one, thus useless unless I put one of the plastic "adapter" thing-a-ma-bobs in it permanently. Many thanks on the rest of the lot though, Zeppelin plays pretty nice though the old tube amp. pictures later of the now worthless Stripes 45 on my thread if you'd like to see. It's funny because a guy on the MTG boards turned me on to this site.... And collecting records is any different...might as well be stamps.

I'll take it as a no? Anyone have the old school singles or some newer stuff that actually plays at 45 rpm like the older "singles"? EDIT: Looking for newer 45rpms that have a small center hole and play at 33 1/3. Or newer 45's with a larger center hole and play at 45rpm. Or I can sacrifice some of my vinyl worth (see picture) to fit my machines picking format playing speed (plays the smaller holes at 33.3 and all other 45's at 45)

Just checking if anyone had any older 45's from the 60's to early 90's Rock and Roll to Metal-Grunge-Mosh-etc. Also newer 7's that have the smaller hole and play @ 33.3 [7 inch 45rpm with large hole or 7 inch 33.3 with small hole] (Newer Rock/Hardcore/Metal) (prefer mostly popular- semi popular stuff : Thousand Foot Krutch type, Chevelle, 10 Years) I've got an old jukebox like the thread implies and I'm not looking for your Mint Rare pressing of obscure tune but rather the unwanted hits that somehow lost their cover or Margaret Monroe from Tampa inscribed her name on the label for eternity. Maybe some have covers but they show the age of time and are ripped. I just want some more variety to what I already have...... and it has to be able to play on my machine. And I do have a few, maybe we could trade but I'd like to buy first and foremost.
