I actually have a decent clamp, only works on one side. I think the only thing that could possible bring this bad boy back is a "Vinyl Flat" and they are like $200, plus to ship to Canada would be very, very expensive. 

 

I may email King Gizzard on Bandcamp and ask what they recommend, I presume there is nothing that can be done due to the low quantity that they had, I am still happy just to have it.

Does your clamp have the little piece that can go under the record to try and reverse some of that bowling effect? Not sure what kind of clamp you have, but it's the little thing in this video.

 

So. I am extremely sad to report my 12 bar bruise arrived. The sleeve is a strong VG+, however the vinyl itself is dished or bowled. It's a sad day folks, a sad day indeed. Looks like I won't be spinning this tonight.

It's expensive but could be worth it. It's supposed to fix all kinds of warping.

 

If you don't want it I would take it off your hands. PM me.. but maybe try the clamp.

Top anecdote. Anyway, I removed the shrinkwrap from mine, don't wanna see any of that bending happening in the long run. It feels better having it in my resealable mylar sleeve, sitting there on the shelf, unplayed, while I listen to the mp3 version. We are strange people, aren't we. 

 

If I had got one in time, i'd be spinning it as soon as I got it. But I know how you feel.

Mine also came with surprisingly little damage. I'm not so sure that info on Discogs about every copy including a drawing is correct. Mine was only numbered, nothing else.

I believe he id referring to the "I'm In Your Mind Fuzz", It has been completely sold out and now they have the black vinyl up for sale again as of today.

They didn't even have an option for color vinyl only when it first went live.

So was this 500 Worldwide or just 500 with the lenticulars?

 

I think it was just 500 Lenticulars because they have a color vinyl only option.

What do you all think the probability of a colored edition being available in the US?

 

I feel like an Urban Outfitters exclusive edition is written all over this..

I personally like having the vinyl from the origin country of the band.

It would be awesome if the cover was also lenticular

Did anyone else order The Live at Carnegie Hall box set from ebay seller annie3857 (it was posted earlier that they were selling the box set for a decent price)? If so, did you receive it yet? I've been getting the run around.

I got Eyes Like The Sky and 12 Bar Bruise from the garage sale. They arrived yesterday, I'm in Europe.

 

Excellent. That means Quarters can't be too far behind.

Love the fact that Flightless send their records out in pizza boxes. With full of beautiful stamps on them.

I'm really enjoying this album. It has one too many instrumental track i think, but overall i think it's a very solid album, and the vinyl sounds great.

So, has anyone listened to this? I thought for a four song album it was fantastic, I did however like "Infinite Rise" less than the others. "Lonely Steel Sheet Flyer" sounded amazing though. Very excited for the physical record to arrive now. 

 

I feel like I can't wait 5 months for their next album!

 

It definitely felt like a departure from their other albums, a little slower and a simpler arrangements. But it seemed to have this upward trajectory that I enjoyed. I also really like Lonely Steel Sheet Flyer. Looking forward to getting this record. Still trying to track down some of the earlier releases!

I do have a trade list, i'll try and get it to you. I'm always looking for Ty Segall, King Gizzard, POND, Tame Impala, Jack White stuff and 90's grunge.

I'm going to the NYC show. I also wondered about merch. I think it will probably be shirts and stuff. Maybe they'll have some CastleFace vinyl? I would think it would be too expensive to bring the flightless vinyl to America from Australia, but I hope they do!
