yeah i like these fun names but give us real colors too. this new one is white-ish grey?

also what color will Banquet or Different kitchen carry?

The two colors we posted for mailorder are nuts. I tried to be evocative with the descriptions. If they were just solid grey, then I would have said "boring grey" or maybe "whale grey" or even "blubber".

I will reveal this much: exploding shipwreck has an opaque base and shattered mast has a translucent base. The rest is a secret! A surprise! Still! In 2013!

If you decide to order the second color too, please be sure to put in the NOTES that you already ordered the first color... This would be more important for those outside the USA, of course.

also: ordered. i was not gonna take the chance of not getting this. this band is too good to wait till its in stores. last album is so good i've bought like 5 copies to give to people.

They are all supposed to arrive together... And they are not here yet. I suppose that would make them both part of the first pressing. They are quite different.

My guess for the color? Half clown, half mime with potato and olive splatter. I like to put an octopus in my hat. Do you also like confetti?

"Exploding shipwreck" is gone, but there will be other fun colors.

I'm going to get this after Fest. I think some other new records will be out by then.

I doubt red vinyl will last that long, for anyone thinking about waiting until November.

It has a couple extra songs so let's assume it is an authorized bootleg like Mush. 

 

It is beyond me which of the various bootlegs are okay (if any) and which ones are not okay. Let's just assume that they are ALL total bootlegs made by a handful of people (from a certain European country) who are making money where they see the chance to do that. I have not a clue.

I ordered and got an email saying there were downloads. Download was called "placeholder" and was just an empty folder. Anyone else have this problem?

 

This is a glitch on the part of our site host. No one was supposed to get a link emailed to them until the release date. Coincidentally, I had the foresight (intuition?) to link a "placeholder" folder. I am very glad that I did that.

 

It is my understanding that any time we update or change that linked folder, you will all get a new emailed link and a message that says something like "hey, you have new stuff to download!"

 

I will keep you posted.

Strangely, everything is set correctly on our site so you would get NO links emailed until the release date. Yet it seems many (all?) of you did... perplexing!

 

I believe that each time we update with a new zip file, you will get a new email. (I will refrain from posting new folders with photos of cue dogs and rabbits every five minutes... although... that seems like a decent idea too, now that I consider it.)

Okay, here's an honest question for you (if you trust me and, well... you never know, I might actually be a martian robot tryign to hijack your instagram-cracker account):

 

In 2013, do you care whether this record $12 for mail order if the vinyl color is crazy? I debate this shite endlessly, especially when schemeing neat records and vinyl combos. Then I look around and see $15 for relatively normal records... and that seems too high to me (unless there's a hologram and a bowl of cereal involved). That said, going to the movies is $20 - $25 if you take a date. Yikes!

Will there be a Fest edition ?
