HOLY SHIT! I'm glad someone remebered this. i still have the ALF dolls, but no flexi discs. i thoght they were just 7"s. Are you sure they were flexis? I went batshit when those thingsl first came out.
I seem to remember the ALF records being picture disc 7"s. I know I've got one somewhere at one of my parent's houses, probably with the Gremlins records Hardees gave out.

I've tried the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce. It's meh at best, but it beats the hell out of the Guinness BBQ sauce I found, which is a damn shame.

It's worth a try. There's probably some webpages that won't work with it, that's why we're not switching over to it at work, but if you want to try it, go for it. It should be pretty easy to uninstall, I know IE7 is.

I'm a working man now, no summer break, but my plans are to work, get my A+ certification, and save for Fest.

i am so looking forward to raggae shack. i never hit up gator dawgs.. who wants to take me?
I wasn't impressed with Gator Dawgs. It was really my fault, though. I ordered a Chicago style, expecting them to do it right and it was very sad.
I've got to try the reggae shack this year, though. The smoothie place was awesome. I forget the name, but lady working there had a French accent or something. And I'm eating gator at some point while I'm down there this year.

I prefer the tv edit of House Party where they say monkey suckers instead of motherfuckers.

Might be leaving for a while.

40s rule when you're already drunk or when you're hallucinating and are drinking like a fish to even yourself out.
Or when you're playing Edward Fourtyhands.

I seem to recall the Bouncing Souls bragging about how they brought 40's of Mickey's with them on their bus when they came down to Fest. I think they had a few on stage with them, but I couldn't tell.

Buy him his white whale, the record he's been looking for but just hasn't been able to get. That, or one of those record frames to display the cover of a record.

I talked with the guy that runs the local record store here and he mentioned that the reason he didn't get certain things was that some labels wanted him to join their coalition in order to get it. He said it cost something $150 to join one of these coalitions and that the money he'd get from selling those records would barely cover that, if it did at all. Needless to say, I couldn't hold it against him for not having the Jay Reatard/Sonic Youth split.

Hopefully I'll find a job soon
And then I'll be in IT too.
If you're in the Twin Cities, HOOK ME UP!
Have you tried the local TekSystems office? They got me my current job. Yeah, it sucks being a contractor and not a real employee, but it's better than nothing and a lot of companies, at least in WI, seem to prefer hiring through a contractor agency.

i never get my friends to pair me up.. when they say that, it's a automatic fail. they tried once, and i figured it out and i didn't get along with the girl in the least, so i made it know that next time they do tht, i'm making a ass out of them in public...
This. When friends try to pair me up, the first question I ask is "What do you think I have in common with this person besides the fact that I'm single?" Generally, they don't have an answer. If they continue to press the issue, it's time to make an ass out of them.

I... might know a guy who has an iso of dreamweaver CS3 on his hard drive... If I can find a site that'll let me upload that, I'll have him PM you the address...

Well played! I gave up smoking for lent and I don't think I'll start up again when it's over. With the higher state and federal taxes on smokes, my Lucky Strikes are probably near $8.00 a pack, which is ridiculous.
II'm also getting back into my eating better kick too. My best advice is to stay away from fast food as much as possible and cook your own food as much as you can so you can better control what you're eating. Just pick a night and cook a huge amount of stuff you can stash for leftovers and just microwave em that way you don't have to cook every night if you don't want to.
When it comes to eating right, that's the best advice there. Cook your own food, no processed shit. Use those cooking magazines they sell in the checkout aisle at the supermarket, get ideas from Rachael Ray(some of her food is nasty, but a lot is good and pretty simple). Being single, I only need to cook a couple nights a week. I make a ton of food and am able to stretch it out. I bought one of these to help with staying away from the snack machines at work and it's helped out a lot.

Also, if you want to make your friendly neighborhood tech guy's life hell tomorrow, get Conficker on your machine. I'm not looking forward to going in and finding out what that shit does.
