Got lucky and grabbed this from discogs today for $45. Glad there are still people out there that don't try and flip everything the second it goes oop.

Morning all. Just to make things clear I have a box spring under my mattress on the floor

 

I went all out and got a fancy ass Queen size eurotop mattress with a nice boxspring and legit frame.  I figured I spend 1/3+ of my life in bed (...and it's usually the best parts), so I could justify dropping $800+ on a mattress.

I can't decide if I should get a new laptop, or just install an SSD in my current one. The extra speed should give me another year or two out of it, and I can use the SSD in a new laptop when I get one. Decisions, decisions. 

 

SSD is the way to go.  I boot my OS from my SSD and then use my HDD for all data storage.  I have a 3TB external for music/movies that is at about 85% capacity.

 

Every day I wake up in fear that my computer will crash and I'll lose ten years of work, pictures, and porn.

A few weeks back I got an "undelivered" slip in the mail, but I dismissed it because this was during a time in which I had bought 28 books online and they were currently flooding my mailbox in a steady stream.  Just a few days ago I get my 3rd notice (I don't think I saw the 2nd one), so I decide to go pick the package up before it's returned to the sender.

 

When I show up, expecting a book, I'm handed a record.  Luckily it had made it here safe and sound with absolutely no damage - despite the less than stellar packaging job for an overseas shipment.

 

It's a nice record.

Damn, I missed out on this.  I wanted that custom condom.

Gaytripp needs someone screaming over it.

I like my weird arty noise to have someone aggressively confronting the crowd and yelling.

But seriously, it sounds like I'd get really drunk and flail/dance at a Gaytripp show.

 

We do have some vocalists.  G (the keyboard player) is a creative mastermind.  This guy is brilliant and can make up a hit song on the spot.  We had a couple people related to the band come on stage during our last show and freestyle rap/scream/wail into the mic.  Pretty much everyone is involved in the show in some way or another.  It's a really, really good time.

Gaytripp sounds like my kind of people.

Well, they have a projector at the venue that I want to utilize.  And I was thinking about using ground meat as part of the show.  I'd like to use a kind of pyrotechnics, but I think that requires licensing and the like.
