Uggghhh, I want it and it's for a good cause end everything but there's no way I can do $12 shipping to Canada for it.  Bummer.

I bought my bundle on the day the preorders went up, minutes after the /300 variant sold out individually. I was hoping to get the /200.

If you bought the 3 LP bundle then you got the /200 and /300.  I don't get what you're getting at.  If you didn't buy the LP bundle, then there aren't any /200 left, cause the only remaining ones were in the 3 LP bundle, but those sold out right after the /200 sold out.

Got my download.  Can't wait for my LP to come.  These guys are definitely my favorite "new" band.  I somehow had never listened to them before topshelf announced the record.  and fuck, it rules so much.

i find these guys to be an even more annoying version of la dispute.  cringe worthy lyrics and vocals.

I'm in a similar predicament but with the The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die album.

the bundles sold out for that album, so im assuming all the /200 and /300 variants are gone.

I don't see how they pay $4 more? If he bought it for $19-20 and sells it for $19-20 he sells the record at cost and balances at $0.

 

Unless he sells it for $23-24 and then he makes $4....and the buyer still saves from eBay prices?

If you're trying to avoid selling it to a flipper it might make more sense to wait til you see someone post a WTB for it. Then message them and say you'll sell it for cost and make their day.

Yeah maybe.  But if someone sees this and gets stoked I'm going to take the benefit of the doubt and hope they're not picking it up off me just to flip.  Ya know?  Just trying to be a reasonable dude and maybe in the future I'll get something for a fair price from someone.  karma.

I feel nice, and your comment pissed me off.  Next person to comment that is a respected user on the sight (and not you) and not a douche bag gets the record for cost+ shipping.

I thought I could help someone on this forum out.  I'm 100% willing to give this to someone for the amount I paid for it.  This ensures it doesn't end up on eBay for an inflated price.  Yeah, maybe someone happens to notice it and pick the copy that i dont buy up and not flip it, but this way I make someone on this forum happy, and can start to get some positive feedback so people are more willing to sell/trade with me in the future, considering I'm a new user.

Hey guys.  I have a sealed copy of this record.  I was on merchnow the other day and for some reason these were in stock, I ordered 2 so some record flipping douchebag didn't grab one to sell for $100.  After I ordered they were out of stock, so they must have found two laying around.  These have been OOP since I'm pretty sure the day the PO went up.  I don't want to sell it for an unreasonable price.  I just want to trade for something I want.  Shoot me ANY trade offers, your tradelists, anything you can think of.  If in a week or so if there's nothing I want, I'll let it go for cost+shipping.  That number might be a bit higher because I'm in canada and it cost $15 + around $10 just to ship it here, but it won't be anywhere near eBay prices, and I obviously won't be profitting off of it.

Bottle of Charades is one of the best pop punk songs ever written in my opinion. I have no idea what's up with this song, their bassist who does back up vocals live now is a much better vocalist then this dude. Im bummed. Plus I'm seeing them soon.

Holy shit (sorry for the pun), that song is absolute shit. Make Your Mark is such a good pop punk album, and Holy Shit was solid as well. Comparing a song like Bottle Of Charades to this pile of shit makes me sad

Listened to the stream. Bought this on a whim. I don't know much about the band and honestly can't say I enjoyed every songs but their were a few that really stood out as amazing. Getting Sodas is a hell of a closer and honestly the vocal delivery is the only thing I am on the fence about after hearing the album but its something I can learn to enjoy and the instrumentation is beautiful. 

They have a new vocalist taking over who sings quite a bit on this album.  Check out their half of their split with Deer Leap, awesome material.

It's a pop punk record from one of the biggest bands in pop punk right now.  Give it time.  Lots of douchebags.  And I'm not taking a hit on kids who listen to TWY, because I do enjoy a lot of their stuff, but I'm sure they have a lot of loser "fans" who will definitely be flipping these.

With them wanting to prevent flipping on Merch Now with the bundles and prices, I don't understand why they let people buy multiple copies of the LP at the shows.

On ap.net i called the $500 bundle "not very punk" kind of as a joke, but also because a $500 bundle is just bullshit, and one of the band members justification for the $500 bundle was "the kids can just turn around and sell some of the stuff on ebay for a lot and make their money back".  he responded to me with that.  so what he said was they can charge an inflated price of $500 because you can turn around and ebay the 7" and test press for hundreds.  imagine if all labels did that, first pressings limited to /100 will sell for $50+.   didnt bother firing back at him cause he has a blue name and stuff and all the mindless ap kids would light me up, but how douchy is that coming from a band member?  so i really don't think they care about flipping too much.  they've got their money already.

(also i know it's hopeless who decided the price and maybe even the bundle, i just found the principle behind what he said super lame)
