I'm not trying to defend it, just saying shit happens in football/sports and there's nothing you can do. Shit decisions get made all the time, Mexico's striker dived into Albiol for their penalty yesterday, Ronaldo gets plenty of free kicks from cheating, and it's all down to bad refereeing but IT HAPPENS!

I know you aren't trying to defend the call, I understand that. But, to me, the Denmark own goal that went of two of their players before going into the goal was a shit happens moment. Robert Green not handling that Depmsey shot was a shit happens situation. That call, and there wasn't an explanation for why there was a whistle, was beyond shit happens.

He also bought Mortal Kombat II for cheap because it was broken but he is in the process of fixing it up. I guess being an electrical engineer helps out with stuff like that.

Yea, his fatality at the end is awesome! I still remember when I won the Mortal Kombat 3 ultimate guide from my friend in a game of one on one. It had every character's strengths, weaknesses, moves and fatalities. It was one of the crowning achievements of my youth.

I only had three pulled. I would suggest to sleep on ice packs. It really helped with the swelling....oh yea, and the drugs.

Exactly, there were maybe two players out there who will be on our starting 11 (Gooch if healthy and maybe Holden).

Howard, Altidore, Dempsey, Donovan, Bradley, Spector and Bocanegra weren't even subs last night.

If those guys played it would have been in entirely different story.

Personally I loved the ending. Yea there were some questions I still wanted answers for, but I knew it was good series finale when I realized that I really didn't remember what those questions were. Or, why they were so important to begin with.

You guys were right. They put on an amazing show, so much energy. Pretty much everyone there realized that we might not get to see Bane in our hometown for a long time so we might as well make it worth it.

No vinyl ,which I was disappointed about but I did buy the standard Bane shirt.

All in all it was one of my favorite shows I have been to.

Pretty excited. I'm surprised they are coming to a city like Evansville. We hardly get any decent bands outside of the pop country or aging "rock" bands genre. Though Brokencyde is coming in May...which should be a great time.

Has anyone seen Bane on their tour so far? What kind of merch did they have available?

These last two episode were excellent. Pretty much fan service but still...Scott Tenorman being head of the gingers was awesome.

It is growing on me after the 3rd listen or so.

I was at the game, it was ridiculous. Horrible decisions on both sides of the field, especially on the base path. Around the 18th I was just in a state of disbelief really, not that the game was going that long but that the game was still scoreless and the Cards left 19 men stranded on base. Oh well, I got my money out of the ticket.

Side note...did anyone else order the Desmond shirt from that 108 print shop a few pages back? If so, did you get it? The have never sent it or responded to emails...

I'm starting to think that the dagger that Sayid stabbed Locke/Smokey with is actually starting to do something. The past few episode it seems that L/S has been losing his edge that he had. And last night he ran after Sun instead of becoming the smoke monster. As well as telling Sawyer that if he could be on the other island by turning into smoke he would have done it by now.

Just a thought.

I think he ran after her because it was only a few feet and he didn't want to scare her.

Also, I don't think he can travel across large bodies of water, otherwise he would have left a long time ago.

I'd say she was already scared, if she wasn't there would be no reason to run. I still think that the knife had some effect on Locke/Smokey...whatever effect that may be.

I'm going to Cubs games June 18 and 19th. July 1st weekend is Summerfest, Taste of Chicago, and Dave at Alpine so I'll have a full plate.

I'll be at the game on the 18th. Coming up with some family to watch the Cardinals. It will be my first trip to Wrigley.

That is also USA's last group stage game in the World Cup so I plan hitting up a bar before the ballgame and hopefully celebrating passage into the knock out stages.
