I'm starting to think that the dagger that Sayid stabbed Locke/Smokey with is actually starting to do something. The past few episode it seems that L/S has been losing his edge that he had. And last night he ran after Sun instead of becoming the smoke monster. As well as telling Sawyer that if he could be on the other island by turning into smoke he would have done it by now.
Just a thought.

Some live songs recorded by all around good dude Jeremy Silveira.

Our split with Senders is at the plant. We should have test presses in 2 weeks or so, and we're working on getting the artwork done. Hopefully we'll have this bad boy out some time in march. Our songs from the 7" are on our myspace (www.myspace.com/wavelets), and you can check out one of Senders songs @ www.myspace.com/senders
Thanks.
Hey man, really digging your tunes. Still want to run that review in the campus newspaper too. Let me know if you are still down so we can get this done.

Have to love the supporter group's logo too.
Ben Franklin!!

My boyfriend and I joked about how we need to get the Philly soccer team aligned with a political party much like soccer teams apparently are in Europe.
We were thinking the socialist party.
I also hope that Philly will have it's own breed of soccer hooligans. Our sports fans got a reputation to uphold.
Haha, well knowing Philly fans I'd say your reputation is safe...
Socialist party is a good bet...soccer is a Commie/socialist sport anyway...

I guess AM!/Creed was the play-in game?

Any of you (or anyone else) watching the first MLS match of 2010 between the Union and the Sounders? Not pulling for any team but damn Seattle has some amazing supporters.

I thought the smashing of the bottle may have a relation to Jughead.
It was obviously about WAAAAAAAAAAAALT.
-
Yes, except now you have to only shop at IKEA and eat Sweedish meatballs, you know, because we are now all socialists.
All kidding aside I am excited. We are finally moving forward after eight years of standing still and taking steps backward.
It isn't perfect, but it certainly is progress.

There wasn't too many frat boys at the Bloomington show, though it was IU's spring break so they were already in PCB more than likely.
The show was sold out pretty quickly too. Luckily enough, a friend who lived up there got a few tickets when they went on sale. They played with their original keyboardist as well, added nice touch.
Now just have to decide on heading to the album release. Only a 2 hr drive and my hometown is on the way but I'd have to skip class the following day. Gaining a valuable college education or free beer?

Saw them in Bloomington last weekend, such an amazing live band. The played a good number of songs off the new one and they sounded great.
Thinking about going to the album release show at the end of the month. 10 bucks gets you the album and free PBR the whole night, not a bad deal at all.

I loved the politician from Iowa comparing the tea-baggers and their protest to the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia. A revolution that got the Czech and Slovak people FREE health care.
Not to stereotype, but I'm sure the majority of the crowd there didn't know what the Velvet Revolution was, they just figured it had something to with Communist Russia.
And as we know, Obama=Communism, Socialism, Fascism, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and whoever else Glenn Beck can fit on his chalkboard.

Fun and educational!

Man, that guy must get all the ladies with his sweet neck beard.

"They provide more than flair and image. They provide a familiar, catchy, yet enjoyable sound that one can appreciate."
Be sure to appreciate that sound at your local Hot Topic. Which is where the Paramedic finds their flair and image.
-
The Hot Topic in my city's mall has an opening this weekend if any of you want to play it. itsajakie's band gets first dibs though....unless any of you have more than 5,000 myspace plays a day.

I thought of this thread last night....I left campus to go eat some supper and watch LOST and an Uncle Kracker song was playing. After leaving my place and heading back to campus to do some work the same song was on and sure enough it was playing again on my way home.
Two hours...one Uncle Kracker song played three times.

There's really nothing better than dedicating a whole weekend to watching Band Of Brothers start-to-finish. Such a fantastic story.
Exactly. It's one of those things that if it's on I HAVE to watch it. I wake up on Saturday morning with a to do list and flip on the tv and a marathon is on... there goes my weekend plans.

No pot for me.....do you have a beer?

Shannon's not with Boone because the actress had a busy schedule, so that was their way of writing her off.
Yea, but that works into the theory of how things are just a little bit different in this reality.
-
I'm interested in both timelines. The alternate so I can see how things are different, Jack only getting one bottle of liquor instead of two, Desmond being on the plane, Shannon not with Boone and Hurley being lucky. And the timeline on the island because I just want to see how crazy Flocke can get.
-
I started watching it but turned it off as soon as the footage from the finale ended.....I felt like I was cheating somehow lol.

We're catching all sorts of shit in season 2 that we never thought of before. Lots of foreshadowing of time travel, Jacob's secret enemy, the other's having tech we didn't really learn about until season 3 etc etc. I'm loving it.
How do they forshadow Jacob's secret enemy? I've been rewatching and can't find out where they hint at it.

The only exciting things that goes on at my local coffee shop are the rants the owner gets into on how Starbucks is killing the world one latte at a time.

Here is my haul. Sorry it took so long, left my camera at school. Anyway, I got a Liverpool FC jersey, two records (Further Seems Forever and Beloved Us) and a homemade art print. Thanks again cactusbot!

The only book that I'm reading right now that isn't assigned for any class is Soccernomics. Have any other members read it? A must for any soccer/football fan.
I do have a pile of books on my desk ready to be read during the summer.
