Seeing how long it's going to take for these to start shipping, I think I'm going to wait to see how people like them. I am a total Apple fanboy, but I really think they fucked up with the pricing and all the different models. To me $350-400 for the sport edition is way too much for a cheap plastic looking version of the watch. They should have just eliminated that category and had the regular "watch" category be the introductory level at that price point. Maybe I'm overlooking the cost of manufacture, but they seem overpriced, even for Apple.    

Is anyone else thinking about getting the Apple Watch? It seems pretty cool, but I wonder if it would be better to wait until the next generation. I've read some reviews that are not all positive, but also seems like personal preferences just need to be changed in the settings. What's everyone's thoughts? Pros/cons?

It wouldn't be difficult to take a picture of your raffle ticket with a smartphone and file the picture(s) using an app like Evernote. That would also make it easy to send Topshelf proof of a winning ticket as well. Just a thought.

What about a repress of The Dark Knight? That double LP goes for insane amounts of money. With the reissues of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises, I hope we can get TDK too as this I imagine is everyone's favorite.

My kid messed up my purple/mix copy of Stay What You Are that was pressed last year. I'm looking to replace it,  with a clear or blue pressing, but will consider any almost any color except the grey one - that one looks like shit.

Just got my Aeroplane box set. It arrived in pretty decent shape considering the packing job. Mostly just slight damage to a couple of corners, but nothing I could even complain about that much. Like everyone else, I'm just stoked to have gotten that set for that price.

Really digging the sound of Clarity, but I think Futures might be the best JEW sound quality yet. (Also better than the ORG Bleed American.) Kevin Gray mastered it and the man does excellent work.

 

Also the bonus track (Shame) fits in much better as the last song here, as opposed to the 2 Clarity bonus tracks which kinda ruin the perfect album closer Goodbye Sky Harbor....

I don't get why this is such a big deal. Wouldn't you have to get up and take the record off after Goodbye Sky Harbor if there weren't bonus tracks anyway?

Is Rivers' solo stuff worth looking into at all, or is just shitty demos?
