Got mine in today! looks beautiful! haven't spun it yet-
-
Listen to Terrapin @ 26:44 and tell me you don't want to spin this personally?
-
Glad these never got dinged up in the post.
Was that BSN deluxe from the Circa website's recent sale when they had a few more of these on hand for MSRP?

Q: First, what is Beat Delete?
Long A: http://www.beatdelete.com/help
Short A: A site that presses/represses never before pressed and OOP releases based on a threshold of interest shown.
* You don't pay until the threshold is passed AND the discs are actually pressed. Only then will you be sent an email to finish the payment process.** But they wont press the album unless you show your support and pledge to order! This release is currently ~40 orders from getting a repress!

Listen to this release for yourself here:

For the record, I've successfully gotten the following releases from Beat Delete!:
Bonobo - Animal Magic
http://www.beatdelete.com/releases/bonobo/animal-magic
Bonobo - One Off's B Sides

Caribou - The Milk of Human Kindness
http://www.beatdelete.com/releases/caribou/milk-of-human-kindness
Skalpel - Konfusion
http://www.beatdelete.com/releases/skalpel/konfusion
All were great in quality!

It would be nice if we had a Beat Delete thread that people could recommend pressings to support.
For example, here are two that I have "ordered" that might take a while to get pressed at the current rate:
(but these are amazing albums!)

it would be sweet if labels use this site not just for represses, but for first presses of more obscure albums that would usually be too high risk to press otherwise.
They DO this!
Here's a perfect example: http://www.beatdelete.com/releases/ariya-astrobeat-arkestra/self-titled

Wow! nice pics! I'm very excited

wonder if these boots showed up because new plates made their way to a pressing plant and a worker took advantage?.. maybe a reissue is not toooo far out.
Think someone could crank out 500? pressings and not go noticed? *Serious Question*
-
I really wish Sargent House would come through with this already. Its been like five years since they said they had plans to reissue Deloused and Frances in cooperation with ORLG. Its an almost guaranteed instant sell out as long as they don't price it too far above $25.
The way the OG press of this album sells, if they did an official repress they could probably sell for $50+ and they'd still sell out... (not that I'd like it to sell that expensive, but just saying... i mean look at the Devil and God - Brand New repress that sold in droves for $50+ just for the black variant....)
-
ill see if i can post pictures later...
Pics en route?
I'm mostly interested in the inner gatefold, inner sleeves and the vinyl themselves.
Also, was it correct thjat there was NO poster included?
-
i got my copy in today. the records feel a little heavy, the inner sleeves and the gatefold are of very good quality. ive only listened to the first side but the sound has been great so far. ill see if i can post pictures later... overall i dont regret spending so much cash on a bootleg
Glad to hear. Patiently waiting for mine...

I got mine off eBay and it was work just getting it to play decently. The previous owner didn't take care of albums and probably had a crappy ion or crosley because it was like a bowl of rice crispys. Took 2 wood glue cleaning to get it to play decent, can say much for the packaging which is a little frayed at the bottom.
Are you talking about the original silver vinyl press?
-
I think it's time to lock this thread.
The only topic related posts anymore are trade requests, and there's a whole other dedicated forum for that...
-
I've still got my fingers crossed for 'crystal meth blue' vinyl.
-
the LAST 50 pages???
You make a good point... Lmao
-
-
Anyone seeing cheaper ones pop up? Seen a couple sub-$50 shipped on eBay and Discogs. They go fast though, so be vigilant!
-
Is there any news on the standard gatefold release? Is that actually happening?
-
You can't use hot cash on vinyl, therefore it tends to disappear from the site when hot cash is active.
Oh I see, so you're saying they just straight up remove all the vinyl on the website during that Hot Cash window?
-
didn't see that link when i scrolled back. thanks for the help, friends! i originally went to the general vinyl page but didn't see it.
yeah, travis should probably update his OP with the working hyperlink, so that new people to this thread don't have to read for 9 pages to find it
-
shit, did i miss this completely? are more going to trickle online tomorrow circa survive style?
still some as of this post: http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/HTBrandsAndCollections/RDBrands/LinkinPark/Linkin+Park+-+Meteora+Vinyl+LP+Hot+Topic+Exclusive-10116252.jsp

What's the “VINYL DOWN FOR HOT CA$H” in the OP mean? Wasn't always there...

Most definitely. I've had several releases purchased off this website and delivered in good condition and I'm located in the US.
It was £7 shipping to the US for one item. I imagine multiple copies (such as friends going in on an order or something) would have cheaper combined S/H.
