  1. What? Blasphemy! That record is definitely in my personal top 5 of stuff we've released. We're currently sold out, but we placed an order for the 3rd pressing about a month ago.

The 1st pressing came with that little booklet that the band assembled themselves. The 2nd and 3rd pressings will come with a more standard insert with all the lyrics.

No Idea handles our worldwide distribution, so there should be copies of Mediumship available in lots of distros and stores across Europe.

That's great thanks ;) my local record store should get it then!
  2. There has never been a european variant for any Tiny Engines release so I don't know how you are coming up with that.

Also, Dog Knights and Tiny Engines have nothing to do with each other and there is no band that is on both labels.

Oh sorry. My mistake. Thought so..guess I will order it regularly then!
  3. Oh, one of those people...

In Sweden we have "gymnasium" which I think is pretty much like high school (gymnasium is 15/16 to 18/19). People in my gymnasium mostly listens to boring indie pop and pretentious jazz. The punk/emo scene is reaaally small here and in my school perhaps 5 people listens to such music, and I have yet to meet anyone who listens to any experimental music like dark ambient.

similar in Germany..I graduated in 2011 and most of the people did just listen to the shit that gets blasted in all the generic clubs aka chart music. We have a stronger "dark scene" here in Germany, so you will always find at least a handful of people who listen to Gothic and Metal but in fact most of these just look like they listen to it but are actually blasting Slipknot or similar stuff..

I am now at University and of course most of the generic club people stayed the same but there are a lot more "alternative" people who actually listen to stuff that I listen to as well.

  4. Like this thread! I was too young when Emo was at its peak but I'm glad that it is coming back like it does. When genres make a comeback they often change a lot. Just think about anything that was labeled Emo between 2000-2006... The "new" Emo bands are really keeping it traditional at least partially and I think that's a good thing.

Sad thing is that this genre now attracts hipsters and other fashion centered groups that will annoy the fuck out of most of the "real" fans

  5. I can't wait for this record. I already had some decent records this year and some were much anticipated but this one blows them all. There is still a lot to come but I'm pretty sure this will be in my Top 5 of 2014!

Testpressing auctions are always cool. I will bid but I guess there will be a point where I have to quit bidding as those always climb high numbers..
