Her Name Is Calla "The Heritage". first time listening to them, sooo good.
Thats, Unwed Sailor "Little Wars". Very good album.

So many little stories like this but I passed on Leatherface's "Mush" in the late 1990's for like $10 because I was so broke. Good decision at the time but I still think about it.
Ahh man. I had this a couple years ago but traded it off for a pretty hefty chunk of records. I kind of regret it, but I did get a lot of good records out of the deal.

My biggest regret is passing up on bidding on The Smashing Pumpkins "Machina" on eBay about 6ish months ago. The reason I regret it is because the record sold for $15. It usually sells for $80-$100. I bet the seller was angry.
Another one was when I passed up on Mars Volta "Deloused In the Comatorium" at my local record store probably 6 or 7 times before it went OOP until one day it was finally gone.

About a year ago I wrote "Draw a snowman!" in the comments section of an order I placed with Mylene Sheath. Lindsay painstakingly hand painted this on the outside of the mailer and coated it with packing tape:
It's currently sitting on top of my record shelf.
That is fucking awesome! This thread has inspired me. The only thing i've ever gotten, which I didn't ask for, was the word DYNOMITE, written on the box that my Bear VS Shark "Terrorhawk" LP came in.

^Played a show with that Phoenix Bodies band like 5 or so years ago.

If you don't mind having open back headphones look at Grado
Oh, and i've heard lots of great things about Grado's. I almost got some of these, but I really needed closed back headphones.

If you're into flash these won't be your thing, but I definitely recommend them.
Audio-Technica ATH-M50: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ULAP4U/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000F2BLTC&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=12BJQ5B0B0Q554D8MDC2
I did quite a bit of research about a year ago before I bought some of these. They sound great but have gone up in price about 30 bucks since I bought them. Still worth it.

the sp board really isn't that bad. some people just get annoyed when people ask the same exact questions over and over again. (is this copy of mellon collie legit?!) and they make fun of you if you act like you know what you're talking about, but really don't. (sound like another message board?)
that coolasicream guy has tons of duplicates of rare vinyl and refuses to sell them.
he's silly.
I know!! I've seen pics of his collection. Insane.

i used to post there on the reg. but i stopped about 2 or 3 months ago. kids there take shit way too seriously.
Yeah they really do. I just check stuff out there from time to time and those dudes are crazy

Too bad it probably won't be vinyl related Pretty cool of them anyway. A lot of people are completely over-reacting on the SP board about that delay, which was not that bad. I've had to wait waaay longer for pre-orders before that should have not taken very long at all.

I'm pretty sure the special gift for pre-ordering on sp.com was an mp3 of an instrumental demo of frail and bedazzled.
I think almightyseancore is talking about the 'gift' that some are supposed to get for having to deal with the reissue pre-order delays from topspin/the SP store. I really don't think its the lithographs though. Those were given out with purchase of the reissues at some record stores I think.

Doing 100 is possible.
EKS has a deal.
Special Package Deal: 100 Records for $695
includes:
100 12” records with a solid white or solid black label
White or Black die-cut jacket
Note: This is a one-strike process, so the ability to re-press
or make more than 500 to 600 records is limited.
That sounds nice i'll check that out. Not looking for anything too fancy anyway
-
So 300 would be the best small number to press as far as making some money and not completely losing on?
The ideal number of vinyl records to press and ensure you do not lose money on them is zero.
Hah, that sounds about right. Not it in for money though, I just want to lose the least amount of money possible
-
$70+?! Shit, a friend of mine got this in a Nashville record store a year ago for 30 bucks. Also, i've had my eye on this record for a long time, and I always see it for around $30, but keep passing on it. Guess prices have changed very recently….

100 is around what I was looking for, awesome.

^That's such a great ALL album. Reminds me that I need to pick up many more ALL and Descendents records.
