Hey guys, I know this is out of topic, but just want to ask all your opinions. So I won an auction for $68 for 3 brand new LPs. YFW, Daisy and TDAGARIM. No idea about pressing info but YFW and Daisy are black while TDAG is in white. Is this a good deal? I thought it was pretty good though.

I'd say so. I think YFW and Daisy are going for like 20-30 for the lowest value press and pretty much every press of TDAGARIM is going for more than that.

Does anyone actually want them to repress Deja and cause this whole shenanigan again? Don't get me wrong; I'm dying for a copy, but I'm curious.

Any chance you're interested in the clear TDAG repress?

I know some people have posted pictures of their ripped sleeves and covers, but mine came in great condition and I couldn't be happier to finally have a copy of this. I could never get myself to pay the ridiculous eBay prices, so essentially I've been waiting for years. If you like the album, I would say even if the damaged sleeves and sticker bug you, this is a great opportunity to get a hold of a brand new (no pun intended) pressing, no matter the variant. As others have mentioned the sound quality is great, and I can say it is a beautiful thing to finally listen to Jesus on my turntable.

I have specifically been wanting this album to listen to Jesus and I finally did tonight. Cheers

Has everyone found the sound quality of the different TDAG versions to be good?

I can't believe they stuck a sticker on the jacket in the first place, but I love that it's a cheap transparent sticky piece of crap sticker that won't peel off cleanly.

I wonder if you could steam the sticker off like you can do with stamps?

From a previous pressing of this album most likely. Please post details of when/where he purchased so we can squash speculation.

 

If he bought a new copy from the pressing this thread is about then people are about to lose it. I doubt it though.

He said a record store in Chicago, but I think it was most likely an older press. Weird that it was there for under 20 bucks though...

My older brother got a blue copy? idk what that means but that's how I found this board...
