Loving everything about this. The splatter looks awesome and the jacket art is clean. The record sounds great. Can't wait for the rest of this series.

I ordered the second they went up on US. Honestly ordered it so long ago I forgot, so I dunno if there is truth to you getting a red. I guess we will see? Mine came fed ex as well.

My Amazon.com order came today. Black, seam splits, with the sticker on the plastic.

Braved the mall and picked this up the other day. They only had two copies and were in the back. Didn't call ahead but usually they don't have a problem holding it for a day.

No such luck with the 'buy one get one half off' this time though

Well, first, I think its a trend to be into a band's older stuff, and also people have some fascination with the "you're the smell before rain" and "I am heaven sent" and all the other sentimental lyrics from Deja. A lot of girls, at least from what I can see, project themselves into the manic-pixie-frail images of the love object in these songs.

I think that's why tickets for Night 1 went fast(er) and sold for higher, because Deja is the popular favorite.

 

Whatever reasons aside, to be disappointed/upset with a Brand New discography show without even giving it a chance is naive and to be so rude is ridiculous. When's that ever going to happen again?

if you left the show early or booed Brand New or were chanting "deja" then fuck you you're the reason this new scene fucking sucks.

I was a little surprised at first but all of the employees seemed to be on board with it.

 

They had a bunch of clearance 7"s for like a buck too.

No I had the same thought, that since Brothers wasn't officially released (at least to my knowledge) they weren't going to do it.

 

But the chatter Jesse had with the band between albums (&setlisting) makes me think that Coca-Cola was planned (since they all left & he'd do CC alone) but he changed his mind. "Hey- Hey Band. Why don't we do all three. You've never heard it this way before." or something like that.

 

Also, wasn't his brother there at the venue too? That might have had some influence as well.

Both of which I enjoy equally but I think it was a good decision for the show/venue/crowd.

Also, I don't remember when vinyl has ever been included in HT's online sales. However, I have seen it included in in-store sales. I got a bunch for buy one get one half off a few weeks ago.

Their B-Side contributions were those that they "Officially Released".

 

But they didn't play Am I Wrong or Coca-Cola either

 

edit: even though Am I Wrong was a cover I figured it counted.

A few more red went up on Banquet a couple hours ago but it looks like they're gone now. They still have some clear though (presumably without the sticker?). Declined orders.

Banquet has shipped my order and will hopefully be here by Christmas.

Thanks man, you're right! What totally makes up for the hole that put in my pocket was that a friend was able to hook me up with a GA ticket for the Jersey show, and at cost too. She's an angel. We'll be going to both, it's gonna be siiiick. Hope to see some of you guys at either of them!

I think the first run of Black copies have the sticker on the Jacket. That's how my copy from Germany came.

My order from Germany (Amazon.de) was black with the sticker on the jacket as well. Ordered pretty early.

Does anyone know what they raffled off?

Someone on instagram said she won a signed set list in the raffle. No idea about the other winners/nights.
