  1. I am going forsure this year, went last year as well. Whats the price difference between the VIP and normal tickets?
  2. 1 down, thank you very much! If only the rest will be this easy.
  3. My god... fine example of the kings english in that link! Believe it or not tho, when comparing the 2, the old kenwood actually makes a better quality of sound. Whether quality is a good word to use.. I'm not sure But comparing lemons to limes it beats what I had!
  4. Okay, so after a few months of searching I've decided to turn to the great people of VC. I'm searching far and wide for the following few vinyl. 1. A U.S./UK pressing of Pink Floyd's Animals. (Preferebly a later pressing, 2+) 2. The Front bottom's S/T(2x10" or 1x12") 3. August Burns Red's Constellations (willing to spend a VERY fair ammount) 4. Neck Deep's Rain In July/A History of Bad Desicions. Anyone with leads on any of these or anyone willing to part ways with their copy please post here or send me a PM. Thanks!
  5. So just as I was getting ready to go out and buy a new receiver, I was given a free Kenwood kr-v6080. I'm using a jvc home theatre system. Worse, a CHEAP line of JVC theatre system which is hardly playing quality music, or any sound, currently and I can't seem to find to much on the "new" kenwood receiver. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this old Kenwood and could tell me how it would stack to what I have now? Any help would be appreciated
  6. Living in Toledo,oh (their hometown) I can tell ya I've seen all those bar the record release cover youth at my local record shop. I'll look for you today and see what I can pick up.
  7. I have the clear variant, went to the magic stick in Detroit for the tour. Can send pictures, message me and we can work something out??
  8. Interested in the Lost in Life, Tigers Jaw S/T, and Neck Deep RiJ/HoBD. Shoot me a PM with a price in mind and maybe we can work something out?
  9. That was a much more helpful answer to get on such an old record player, thank you very much! Yes your correct, there is a anti-skating and a adjustment knob on the pivot point (to be exact, this is exactly what i have http://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/gallery/image.php?mode=medium&album_id=1456&image_id=22731) but instead of a "weight" persay, there is a spring under the arm that would load or pull off weight from the record. Atleast I can only assume that's what it is there for.
  10. So I've been reading into calibrating your record player with the counter weight and cartridge alignment and tracking pressure, so on and so forth. But with my turntable I don't have a counter weight, instead under the arm at the pivotal point is a spring attached to the arm. Does this serve the same purpose or should I be looking into a different method of setting this up? It mostly does not help that I do not have the manual to this turntable to go through setting the turntable up, and I have not been able to find it online, but i have found information on my cartridge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  11. I have a BSR that seems to match exactly what you're describing. A 2260bx to be exact http://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/gallery/image.php?mode=medium&album_id=1456&image_id=22731
  12. Honestly, I myself am not the biggest fan of Brand New but i know my friend really likes them, and seeing as how a good chunk of his vinyl collection was recently stolen from him I feel like I might as well try and throw my name in to give it a shot. By the way, very cool idea with the gif!
