Silversun Pickups' Carnavas Limited Edition On Vinyl
dmblea replied to dmblea's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I don't know for certain that the one on Amazon is the colored vinyl. I doubt it would be a Zia exclusive, but who knows. If anybody happens to see this pressing at your local record store, please report it here. Thanks. -

I did open it up and there is no 7" included. I believe Prince solved the mystery with the Amazon link. Thanks again. -

I’ve been a fan of Silversun Pickups for several years now; have all of their albums, and am looking forward to their new album coming out in the coming weeks. That being said, I just visited my local record store (Zia Records in Phoenix) and came across the attached along with two other identical copies, was sitting in their new vinyl section. The sticker on the shrink says “Limited Edition Color Vinyl – Brown & White Marble”. Needless to say, for $20 I wasn’t going to pass it up. I just did a quick search online for more info about this particular pressing and I don’t see anything in Discogs, SSPU’s website or anyplace else for that matter that refers to this version of the album. I was hoping somebody here could provide me with some insight on it (when was this pressing released, quantities, etc.). Thanks in advance. David

Built to Spill - Untethered Moon

I just finished listening to the album, which I picked up yesterday. The music is fantastic, and it sounds great on vinyl. What was especially cool was my record store gave me an autographed, numbered Built To Spill poster with my purchase. I've attached an image. I need to run out later to Michael's and pick up a frame for it. Highly recommend this album. -

Here is my copy. Unfortunately my download card is invalid. Did anyone else try their code? Not sure if this problem is isolated strictly to my copy or a universal thing. I sent the label's site an email so hopefully they will send me a valid code. By the way, did anyone else save the outer brown bag? I'm debating whether or not I should. It's not really conducive to a traditional plastic sleeve.
