I think the record is pretty good. They went the way of Alcest this time, going all cleans. The music itself is fantastic though, Jade Fields is one the most beautiful blackgaze songs I've heard recently.
Excited to get my copy soon.

Listening through for the first time right now. This album is way better than I thought it was going to be. I'll buy it first thing after I sell some stuff.
Agree with this dude, def pleasantly surprised by this after being super skeptical. And ordered.
Noticing a lot of varying influences throughout the record like Emery (on In Shallow Seas We Sail) on the track 'A Lot to Say'.

Is it confirmed 9am est or another time zone? In class from 8-940 might need to 'step out' for a sec...
-
Also, am I to assume this'll be going up on BWM?
Probably, that's where the original PO was before other variants popped up shortly after on those other two labels.
-
Already a 2nd press coming tomorrow, Clear and Lavender variants.
-
More info regarding the album just went up.

Am I missing something here? Isn't this version the one with the instrumental disc that's been sold out forever and sells for like 100 bucks on discogs and ebay http://www.discogs.com/Run-The-Jewels-Run-The-Jewels/release/4794192
Yea, if you add it to cart it says sold out. It's the one I posted above.

Got my Cream vinyl today, slightly not what I was expecting. It didn't come out solid cream like most do, ended up having some yellow splotches/splatter.
-
The original press was def not 180g either, so it makes sense. Mine doesn't have a sticker though falsifying that.
-
The original deluxe was limited to 500 and sold out on the first day didn't it?
-
I'm still waiting for their US version of 'The Anaesthete' they promised was coming...
I have the Euro version they put out at release.
-
The 'Live from Iceland' 3xLP just got here, awesomeeee
-
Love the reverby post-punk sound.
Def down to get this and the Little Big League split together.

Didn't see this anywhere but if this is a double post just delete

100 Opaque Pink Salmon
150 Opaque Seafoam Green
250 Opaque Light Cream-------------------------------
Song they are streaming sound great, should go up soon as the other day it didn't list pressing info.
-
Sounds muddy, hoping the physical copy sounds better.
-
So happy, this album is legit awesome, one of my favorites of the year so far
-
Thanks for the heads up, no idea Old Gray were doing a split! Grabbed a splatter from Dogknight
-
Just got my teal today and damn....this is seriously one of my favorite albums of the year so far, been playing non stop. Didn't think I'd like the whole thing this much!
-
I'm actually not digging the Young Mountain b/w cover...kinda another reason why I passed. Something about the orange/cream one just fits it more perfectly.
-
They should give 100 of those whites to a hundred of us who ordered the Red Glitter one as a bonus
-
Represses of "Young Mountain" (black/white cover, on black or white vinyl) and "S/T" (green cover, on black or clear vinyl) are available for mailorder now at Magic Bullet Records.

Not sure of the exact pressing # info.
Snagged a Clear S/T as I don't have that on vinyl yet. Didn't order Young Mountain because I already have it on 3 diff color types.

Mine hasn't come yet Says was supposed to ship late March early April, but I'm US so may take a little to get over here.
-
Love this album but it's honestly a toss us for my favorite hiphop album of the year so far, this or CunninLynguists.
-
Albums alright, not great enough for me to blindly order the album though. I made that mistake with the newest Defeater album which was extremely meh.
Having Love Let Me Go on vinyl > this.
PO: Lantlôs - Melting Sun (for fans of post metal/dream rock)

No no not at all, I'm merely saying they draw upon a lot of the same techniques and sounds-capes imo, not because of Neige.
This is definitely still heavier than Alcest's new album, I just meant the cleans compared to what Lantlos used to do goes that same route. All in all blackgaze is going to be labeled blackgaze when the general sound stays the same, but all cleans does add variety to their catalog and almost verges on atmospheric sludge metal/post-metal.
