Why is this not in the EU, I want that big lebowski vinyl so bad.

So really no one knows of someone distro"ing this in Europe?

I've looked around and send a message to their FB page but didn't get a response.

I just refuse to pay more for shipping then a record (I know that's not the label's fault).

Is anyone in the EU distro'ing this?

 

 

It's weird. I mean, I don't feel bad about buying bootlegs under the right circumstances. But I'd hate to see any part of VC turned into a black-market storefront for anyone who is doing something that is bordeline... illegal? (I don't know, is it? Maybe not. Don't know. I feel weird asking.)

 It's 100% illegal. The artist, label,producer etc. doesn't get any money for the work they put in.

There was this video of Neil Young finding some bootlegs of him in a record store and getting mad at the guy behind the counter (seems to be removed of youtube though).

I'm only cool with boots if the record in question is long out of press or just never pressed (which happens a lot with mixtapes).

If the artist has pressed a record in the past and it's a good record odds are it get's repressed in this day and age.

Not sure why people are discounting what has proven to be a somewhat interesting/innovative band.

I got this today and when I looked at the back I couldn't believe my eyes.

They spelled Sigur Ros wrong, it's SIGAR ROS on the back.

SIGAAAAAR. How was this even overlooked.

It's not really grey but more a milky white.

Is this the deluxe edition only or just the package everyone gets? It looks amazing.

I think it's pretty obvious these won't be the real prices...Glacial Pace hasn't even announced the represses yet. I don't know why anyone here would buy them from amazon first.

Amazon doesn't charge your card until they ship. They will also give you the lowest price they give between when you order and when they ship. So it's not that weird to preorder from amazon.

Amazon uk is stating more and more represses from Modest Mouse.

Maybe they are repressing the whole discography?

I'll play the waiting game.

This will probably tumble in price again or other sellers will sell it cheaper.
