no... that sounds pretty gay...

i would love a copy of this. there had to be so few pressed of this. i remember being at cornerstone festival the summer it came out, and he had it a month before the cd came out and was selling it, my brother bought it, and i recently asked him if he has it, and he does but won't give it up. you can get safe away and his new one from burnt toast, but i think those are the only ones pressed on vinyl. i'd love to see the river bends "and flows into the sea" record pressed. very underrated record.

I will be making a Copeland announcement in December, having to do with vinyl. Keep an eye out...
does it have anything to do with YAMS? or maybe some other record?

did he say why they made the Deluxe Sets so....not really that limited? why 5,000...not 500 or 1,000?
actually, he did not...
the underoath site and a bunch of others said that the set was limited to 5,000, but the strange thing is, this guy was offering me a copy of one of his colored to me but said "i wouldn't be able to trade the two 10" because they are limited and part of a bigger set.
this is strange to me because 100 seems way more limited than 5,000. maybe it was less than 5,000 made, and that whole thing was a mistake. he only quoted me the 12" pressing numbers, i just remembered the box set numbers from before. hmmm.... i'll try to find out if that was initial error. I'd assume there are a lot of them though, considering mine is coming from Best Buy.

Okay, I talked to a guy at tooth and nail and he gave me the pressing info for the new record. not sure it makes sense though. here we go...
5000 Deluxe sets (2x10" Red/Blue)
12"
200 Clear
200 White
100 Purple Marble
Tons of Black
Now, the reason this makes no sense to me is... I haven't seen any white, but I have seen quite a few purple. Also, I have heard of people getting yellow and blue marble. Blue marble is close to the purple... but yellow? Does anyone have a picture of this?
anyway... here you go...

Awesome. This is a great album.
ESR on the other hand, is a terrible album.
I wouldn't say ESR is terrbible. I think it would be better on vinyl though. Sounds like it was made for vinyl. Very warm. But I will say the new one is much better.
By the way, thanks for the email reply.

since tooth & nail has no contact email address, i mailed them a letter asking them this and various other information... i just got an email from one of the people there that said...
"Thanks for your inquiry - Copeland will be releasing their album on vinyl early next year. "
Also, I talked to Jon when they were just in here in Chicago, and he said it looks like its coming out soon.
Not sure about their other records yet. Aaron has stated that ESR was supposed to come out, had a label lined up and everything, and he still plans to get it out.

Has anyone seen this on white? apparently it exists. Looking for it. Thanks.

Copeland's new album "You Are My Sunshine" will be out early 2009 from Tooth & Nail records.

the best solution i can offer, is don't use ion or numark turntables. especially if you got one of those USB ones from urban outfitters.
you'd be better off with one of those crosley traveler players. i have one in my bedroom for when i don't want to disturb the neighbors or the roomates with my set-up. they're great.

I'm sure people are gonna rip me a new asshole for this one...
Underoath's deluxe package for "Lost In The Sound of Separation" is fucking incredible...I don't care what you think of the band or their music...really really really well done...pricey as fuck, the wait was incredibly long, but very very well put together package
awesome, did you get yours? do you have any photos or anything? im still waiting for mine, says its not shipping til 11/25

anyone know where we can find this white copy?
-
it makes sense now for two reasons. the 10th anniversary... plus it was capitol records, and they're doing the capital from the vaults series of represses right now, they did all the radiohead and coldplay records, plus pet sounds by beach boys, a bunch of others set to come out. why not clarity? if it comes out in this series, they're staying pretty true to the original pressings, just thicker vinyl.
