I'd try emailing customer service.  Go on the website & find "contact us", I've had pretty good experiences emailing them.  Not to say they'll do it for sure, but it's worth a shot.  I don't see why not...

Has any artwork leaked yet for One Way Static's Cannibal Ferox Deluxe LP?

I wish they'd make the purple bundles available again.  I was going to finally order a jersey and I'd prefer a purple LP to accompany it vs. a black.

Ah, gotcha. I remember when that zine got shipped out, DWRC said flat out that they didn't have Godzilla and that that was a mistake on LITA's end. In retrospect, maybe what they didn't have was the rights to sell Godzilla through LITA.

Doh, I guess I missed that.  Oh well.  I'll still find a way to get my hands on a copy.  Ultimately I'm just glad it is going to see the light of day.

Why?

Just because it was advertised through a retailer from which it won't be available.  I got excited when I saw the ad and never considered that this release would be something I wouldn't be able to easily purchase through them.

I don't care about the color of the vinyl I'm getting but I just realized after ordering the green version that the limited one comes in a nice gatefold sleeve with a booklet with pictures and liner notes and the green version just comes in a plain single sleeve with a poster. That's pretty lame. 

 

Normally I'd just be like 'whatever' but I'm a huge Godzilla fan and would be really grateful if anyone in the UK could help me get a copy of the limited version.

That is incredibly disappointing to hear if true.

Also slightly bummed that I found out about this release when they included it in their ad in the latest LITA 'zine.

I've never tried ordering direct from Death Waltz before - do they prohibit all sales to US customers or just for particular releases with licensing restrictions?

I can score the orange directly from Amazon UK for about $30 USD shipped, but I'm kind of nervous it'll get too banged up travelling over the pond.  Seeing them at the end of June so I may just risk waiting around and hoping they have some on tour.

What are you asking? How to know whether albums include digital downloads with them or not? Unless it's specified on a sticker on the packaging, or on the website's page where you order the vinyl, there's really no way to know. If there is some sort of download with the vinyl, it will usually be stated in one of those places.

Thanks for the response ACS, I figured as much.  I guess I was just curious if there was any repository online that actually kept track of this sort of thing. Or even a list of record companies known to always include download cards with their releases.

Anyone have any guidance that could be added to the OP regarding digital downloads?  I've bought a couple albums that had download cards and had no clue they were included, however I'm far more likely to purchase a new release when they are.  Amazon's Auto Rip is a good add-on but they don't offer that on everything.  Any help would be much appreciated!

Pre-ordered the Green but didn't realize until today that the jersey is customizable.....so I may be adding the purple into my life too shortly via that bundle.

Just stumbled upon this while doing a Google search to find out info on the upcoming ETID pressings for their new album.  Seems like just the kind of community I've been looking for as I'm a newb at vinyl and have only started collecting seriously in the last 6 months or so.
