What I did was earler this morning I pretented to buy the Dibiase LP and put ALL my information in....

 

I never finished my transaction, and removed that item from my cart.

 

Went back and refreshed at 1pm EST, added the DIH double LP to my cart...

 

Most of my information came up in the boxes.

No boxed sets.  It was just, well, random shit it seemed like.  I was behind him in line and got to see.  Picture discs and anything he could get his hands on.  Like I said, more power to him for being able to buy all that stuff,  it just seemed like at some point "why?"  I can't even fathom paying double my rent in records in a 24 hour period.

If anyone bought Arcade Fire yesterday, can you give me a heads up on how much you paid at your store?  I'm tempted to get it off of Ebay but don't want to pay out the ear for it.

Saw a guy at the first place I went to buy $700 worth of stuff.  Went to the next store down the road and he was there, his total was another $200 or so.  Crazy to blow almost a grand in records in one day.  I mean, more power to him, but still.  I'm sure he bought more at the other stores in town.

Okay, possibly a super dumb question but I'm going to ask anyway.  "Record Store Day FIRST RELEASES" means that the titles will eventually have a regular record store release sometime in the future, correct?

Picture discs are VERY different in the way they're made and feel, plus the fact that they have a picture on them. Also, when you buy a record, it'll almost definitely say picture disc on the description.

I only own two picture discs and their sound quality is terrible. They've been collecting dust for a while now.

Glad I made you "lol". Was a serious question. I was looking at picture of other copies of The Black Parade online and thought the looked the same mine. I was wrong. My original confusion came from the coloring of the records. I don't have any other albums with such a "look" as the Black Parade.

Just got both Hot Topic versions in the mail today, got a (dumb?) question though. Is the Black Parade technically picture disks? I was looking at it up close and was curious. Three Cheers obviously isn't but Black Parade makes me wonder.
