the How to Press a Record Thread
kamikazesunrise replied to xjustinxschwierx's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I love this thread and it's definitely a great starting place for new labels. I've been trying to find ways to do cool packaging on the cheap. Has anyone ever tried scoring the paper themselves? If so, what did you use? -
Captain, We're Sinking - It's A Trap 7"

Try this - http://www.mediafire.com/?5gnm2znjhj0 -
This came out yesterday. For those who are unfamiliar with the band, they're from Scranton, PA and play heartfelt melodic punk ala The Lawrence Arms, The Menzingers, etc. Check out the songs below for free download from If You Make It along with their new Live At Fest 8 EP, also for free download. The 2nd annual harvest of hope fest
kamikazesunrise replied to ericheartsu's topic in Everything Else Message Board
Such a great lineup. If anyone is interested in helping out, this year National Underground will have the exclusive rights to film the fest and we're looking for some more volunteers to help out. Yes, volunteers, that means unpaid, but you'll get 2 free weekend passes and get to see and hang out with some awesome bands as well as some other perks. If this is something you'd be into, send an email to [email protected] with a few examples of your film experience and we'll get you all set up. http://www.nationalunderground.org/ -
Cloak/Dagger "Untitled" 7"
kamikazesunrise replied to kamikazesunrise's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
ba bump -
Richmond's CLOAK/DAGGER return to burn through two more of their signature anthems of alienation on this 7 inch recorded by Brian McTernan. The Swiz and Jehu references still ring true, but the Daggers have solidified their own sound and forged on. Download the tunes here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mylt4hanog5 Buy the 7" here: http://www.jadetree.com/releases/product/JT1127 500 Black 500 Clear

Yea, they announced it over the weekend. We're all pretty bummed. There were rumors of an Unlovables/Steinways record in the works too -
I'm looking for Kind of Like Spitting/Lemuria- Your Living Room's All Over Me. Black or clear, doesn't matter.
