  1. A few more photos/info on the packaging, I'm almost tempted to pick up the 12 panel CD as well http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2013/february/nice-sleeve-atoms-for-peace
  2. Cheers buddy but the stuff that ThinkTank do with all the embossing, debossing, foiling etc is always too much for the smaller runs I deal with, maybe one day I'll be dealing with the big boys.
  3. Cheers for sharing that, I've been lost on their blog for a good while now. Insanely impressive stuff, though a little depressing the level they can produce packaging compared to what I do.
  4. Limited Edition £19.12 on amazon.co.uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMOK-VINYL-Atoms-For-Peace/dp/B00AIFTHOW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1359714314&sr=8-3 Standard Edition £13.19 http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMOK-VINYL-Atoms-For-Peace/dp/B00AIFTHIS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1359714314&sr=8-4
  5. I made these earlier in the year, 5" vinyl with business card CD on a pop up mechanism http://www.acdsleeve.com/recent-work/pariso-kerouac-split_5-vinyl-pop-up-business-card-cd/ Hopefully next year I'll be doing more vinyl packaging but for now the larger print format makes it pretty much impossible for short runs.
  6. I don't post much anymore but still check out what's going on and it doesn't seem like anyone has posted about this being available http://intheclouds.bigcartel.com/products
  7. There used to be quite a few Thrice stickers in Paddys Pub in It's Always Sunny, they've recently been replaced by Coors product placement
  8. var ads = new Array("300x250-1.png","300x250-2.png","300x250-3.png"); var num = Math.floor(Math.random()*ads.length); if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) { if(Math.floor(Math.random()*2) == 0) document.write('+':t9exk3c8]'); else document.write('+':t9exk3c8]'); } else { document.write(''); }
  9. It leaked yesterday and is up on their bandcamp page http://teramelos.bandcamp.com it took a few listens but as I suspected I'm in love with it. Can't wait to hear the three vinyl exclusive tracks, given that one of them is one of the best songs they've written it couldn't arrive sooner, I hate living in the UK waiting for deliveries
  10. Was not expecting Meet me in St. Louis and Blakfish to be mentioned, so much love for those bands it's unreal. Check out Shoes and socks off, vocalist of MMISL's solo project (http://shoesandsocksoff.co.uk/) and &U&I (http://andyouandi.bandcamp.com/) new Blakfish band minus Sam Manville Currently I'm listening to a lot of Adebisi Shank (http://www.nialler9.com/2010/08/16/listen-adebisi-shank-album/) and Fang Island, waiting for new Tera Melos to drop so I can listen to it to death.
  11. I got clear gold /440, pretty pleased with that, turned up outta the blue without any shipping confirmation, nice suprice. Now I just need a copy of YFM

  13. I'm hoping Purple and Striped has changed it's name or is one of the bonus tracks, surely they can't scrap one of the best songs they've written? I'm also hoping this is one of the weaker tracks on the record, it's not bad but I was expecting to be blown away
  14. I'd take a set that includes nothing but Vheissu onwards, as much as I love the few songs they play from Illusion and the odd one or two from Artist I can take or leave it. That set is pretty excellent, nice to see them playing Stand And Feel Your Worth. They should play their normal set minus all Vheissu stuff, have an interval, then do Vheissu from start to end, perfect gig.
  15. Are they still playing Artist in the ambulance the song? It's the only song of theirs I don't like, but everyone always goes crazy for it
  16. They are one of the best bands both live and on record, the last couple of times I saw them in the UK they didn't have teppei, so the set wasn't brilliant, but it was still incredible. Next time I see them will be the 10th time, cannot wait
  17. need to hear this, more than most other things
  18. google alltimegreatesthits The album sounds pretty goodafter a few listens
  19. Yeah i picked it up on friday and put a good few hours in. If you like the previous ones like i did you'll love this. Ton of new features added makes it well worth picking it up! I've only played about an hour or so, I'm a little disappointed with a few things. You can change the difficulty setting whenever, I was gonna play it through on normal then again on hardcore, but there doesn't seem much point. Where has hall of meat gone when you bail? Does it only come up when you're doing a hall of meat challenge? And the "story" just seems a little all over the place, I liked in Skate (1) how you worked through magazines working your way up...Saying all this though it's still brilliant, hardcore mode is so rewarding/frustrating
  20. That CD posted above is brilliant. I was going to start a thread like this as I'm in the process of starting up a CD packaging company with this design and a couple of others. The spine is a little thick on this version, it's been thinned up. This is a rerelease of Blakfish's See You In Another City EP on Big Scary Monsters records with bonus tracks made especially for their last show /100 As for favourite packaging I'd have to say Thrice's Alchemy Index is pretty great and this: Meet Me In St. Louis/Secondsmile split single in handstamped sweetshop bag with black cd fake vinyl. Really simple but really nicely done
  21. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260592417487&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT lets place bets on what goes for more
  22. thats so sketchy. i think labels should just put rare releases on ebay. fuck the flipper b.s. and beat them at their own game. im really just bitter i couldnt score this. I was thinking this aswell, why don't labels make a limited number for the band to ebay off to make a chunk of money for their work, or give them away in competitions (although they'd probably end up on ebay again)
