On a real note, never had a single issue with their customer service until now, suurprisingly!

Anybody have trouble with ordering this and getting declined and then told by your bank that it was a "fraudulent charge"?

Had a few others in the cart, but decided against them because I know I really wouldn't listen to them, but there's the two latest Lacuna Coil albums up there that come up to 6$ and 8$ each.

Sorry... I had promised myself I would get them next chance I had since I missed out on them in the last batch. I did at least get the 7" that time. Down to the I was an Island 7" and a black copy of the Jenny Owen Youngs split 7"...

Listening to my standard Amazon copy right now. Sounds a little better than I expected, but definitely nothing mind blowing! Always thought this was a great sounding album to begin with!

 

Can't find much to complain about really, other than maybe a little sibilance issue on Bullet Proof so far, and on Dizzy there's a little cracking and popping (nothing a quick clean shouldn't fix).

2nd, actually. Only other one with a PVC was that Dream Theater RSD single from last year. Didn't know it was THIS common for them to be shit. 

Did anyone else get the Bullmoose picture disc and end up with really bad seam splits on all 4 sides of the plastic? Wondering if I should contact them or just deal with it

Anyone who has the pluto have any issues with low output?

I haven't. I was actually completely satisfied that it sat at around the same output as my ART DJPREII around 0-+3 dB

I'm surprised there isn't more talk about this. I'm just listening to my standard green copy I got a week ago for the first time just now. Immediately I notice it sounds like a horrible 192kbps MP3 transferred straight onto a record with absolutely no mastering done whatsoever. How disappointing.

Maybe people just aren't actually listening to this...

 

I just spun my regular green copy from Amazon. Definitely not my worst sounding LP I've ever bought, but then again with how the album was mixed, I don't think we should have had high hopes for the LP version. The digital and CD versions are a bit too top end heavy for it to transfer well, in my opinion, especially since it was probably a direct CD-Vinyl transfer with no master or anything like you said...

I made a box out of cheap wood. I can send pictures/dimensions if you'd like.

Walmart or Target should carry those mini milk crates that are the perfect size and cheap as well

Tried doing some quick searching, but wasn't able to find anything easily, but...

 

Does anyone here have any creative or efficient ways to store 7" records other than mixing them in with LPs? I have all of my stuff in cube storage shelves, but I'm sick of the 7"s shifting to the back and "getting lost" in the shelf

I got the exact same haul lol! Never heard of anyone except HWM so I'm pretty excited to sit down and have a listen to the rest!

Picked one of these up last week, and I definitely like it over the ART DJPRE II for sure. Don't have enough experience to know how it compares with higher quality pre's though.

 

Definitely sounds great and well worth the price in my opinion. Listened to a handful of LP's with it and my Uturn Orbit, and it's definitely a quiet pairing in terms of things that SHOULDNT be in the music.
